We’ve been going to Live Life Smiling for around 12 months now for my son’s orthodontic treatment, and are so impressed with the level or care he receives that we have started taking the rest of the family for their regular dental checks and treatment too. By far the best dental clinic we have ever been to! The staff are amazing and go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable and relaxed if you’re nervous. I couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

I believe this is the best Orthodontist business in Newcastle, Live Life Smiling are professional yet personal and really involved my young son in the consultation and plans moving forward. Having attended the Live Life Smiling clinic for five months now, I can say that I have found it beneficial on a variety of levels, from the first impression to date. Encountering resistance from other orthodontic practices in the form of lengthy wait times, Live Life Smiling offered an initial consultation with Associate Professor Peter Vaughan within two to three weeks of the call. At this appointment, a thorough examination was performed, and a detailed explanation was provided regarding the treatment pathway, with Peter providing the opportunity to ask questions throughout. Following this, the treatment coordinator outlined and displayed the various forms of treatment, associated costing, and types of payment arrangements. To conclude the appointment, an information pack was issued, including the payment options discussed, a brochure on what orthodontic treatment entails, and a photographic printout of the current state of my smile. The photos were a nice touch knowing these images will serve as the impetus for future reflection on the benefits of treatment.At the initial treatment appointment, the dental hygienists were also thorough and meticulous with the dental cleaning and application of the braces, reinforcing the notion that the practice upholds high standards in their profession. After this appointment, the friendly and welcoming assistants provided information on how to maintain the cleanliness of the teeth and how to care for the braces, including these respective fact sheets in a complimentary gift bag to ensure your orthodontic journey is established well from day one. It proved a beneficial resource to refer to in the initial days post-application of the braces to ensure hygiene and care were maintained correctly.Throughout the treatment journey, all subsequent appointments have continued to be as detailed as the first, communication with the practice has been exceptional, and the staff are always amiable and helpful.As an individual who was somewhat hesitant to commence orthodontic treatment, I am grateful I decided to undertake my treatment pathway with Live Life Smiling, providing me with the knowledge and comfort that a straighter smile is forming.Thank you, Associate Professor Peter and team!

Consistently friendly and quality service. Dr Peter doesn't rush his work and works with our daughter to ensure she is comfortable and confident with her treatment. We are second generation clients and love that everything is timed to our daughter's needs, so she will have the best outcome for her teeth. Sandy and Peter always remember our family and we now drive an hour to get here, we wouldn't go anywhere else.

Recommended by a friend, staff were amazing, especially Karen who fitted in a same day appointment for a 16 year old broken front tooth! Steve was really realistic and informative and did a great job, finally have found a great practice.

I have taken my daughter here before. She has special needs and I was very impressed with the attention that they gave her, making a trip to the dentist very easy. I recently went here for the first time, prompted by my experience here with my daughter. The reception I received was very warm and attentive. I saw Steven and I thought he was fantastic. Every person on the team that I encountered on my visit were of the highest standard. Good job. I can't recommend the clinic enough.

DO NOT DELETE MY REVIEW (practice is known for deleting bad reviews) - Astounding the level of disrespect received from these rooms. To be recharged for a renewal of a quote so I could submit to have compassionate grounds for release of superannuation to pay for my dental treatment. To be told ilk be charged same price as initial consult fee. Old" quote was less than 12 months old. Then offered to have it waived on the proviso I pay full treatment fee upfront $8700 as their "compromise". Absolutely outrageous. Very passive aggressive Dr Peter Vaughan is in email correspondence whilst discussing the above matter. With zero intention of working with clients that cannot pay pay pay"

We have had both of our children recieve orthodontic care at Live Life Smiling and are incredibly happy with the results. Our girls can now both smile with confidence. The team are professional, we are never kept waiting and the end results are incredible, thank you!

Our daughters experience at Live Life Smile has just been amazing and stress free.From our first visit walking in and seeing the big fish tank and hotel style reception was verying calming It took away her fear of going to the dentist / orthodontist. I just got my braces off, and every time I have come in all the employees are smiling and very welcoming. The dentists are always cracking funny jokes that are actually funny, and are always very comforting if I am ever worried or stressed. The whole experience with the dentists and having my braces was amazing. Before I got my braces my friends told me how much it hurt every time they went. But at this dentist it was always perfect and never painful. I love this dentist.
