Banksia Motor Works

There's a shortage of specialist European workshops in the Northern Rivers. I'm very glad to have found Jules and the team at Banksia Motor Works after a few false starts with some other local workshops. Our Audi Q5 had some issues and was throwing multiple fault codes. After a thorough diagnosis, the repairs came in substantially under the quoted price as a number of the parts included did not need to be replaced after disassembly and inspection - now that's integrity! As someone with a background in the trade I found Jules and the team transparent to deal with, and kept us updated as the car was in the workshop. We will be definitely be back for regular servicing in the future.

Paul helped us quickly with a coolant issue on a 320i BMW. He obviously knows his stuff and it was a short fix he didn't even charge us. Would definitely recommend!

500 for service and around 100 for rego check which costs 30. On phone service was told 200 when i went boom bill of 500

Dont be fooled by the owner Paul's charm. He is the smiling assassin of mechanics. An absolute rip off artist. Over $700 for a basic service - unnecessarily doing work less than 2 months after already charging for the same thing. Very charming until questioned about his charges in good faith. He responded with veiled threats of violence to get out of his shop. Stay far away - find someone honest.

I'm amazed at a couple of the ratings that appear here, without any explanation next to them. I've had such positive experiences every time I've used Banksia Motor Works. Paul and his team have looked after my 325ci BMW for the past 5 years since I moved to the area. They are attentive to the car, give me realistic time frames of when I need to get things repaired (eg. when new tyres are needed, etc.). I've never felt that they are pushing me to spend more than I need to. And if ever I've had quick things that needed looking at, they've never charged me for these. PC (one of the staff there) has kindly dropped me home and picked me up when I've needed my car serviced (to save me hanging around for half a day). I've never had anything less than a 5 star service each time I've used Banksia Motor Works.

Paul and Genevieve were amazing! They were booked solid, but thanks to their great customer service, they were able to fix my landrover in no time at all so we could get back on the road. Highly recommended. Thank you very much.
