From the very beginning, the educators have been like a second family to Sophie - she still loves to go and play with her educators from Ruby (from her baby months) including Margie, Eileen, and Joan, because of the strong bonds formed then. In Opal green, she just loves her new educators Lauren, Ivy and Trojan. There are many others who greet her each day. Sophie enjoys going to Guardian each day and we are thrilled with her development while being at Guardian.

My Child attended this centre and the care and love from the staff was fantastic! They were so supportive of our needs and Tyler was always happy to run off to Miss Emily each morning. Thank you so much Queen Street, we will be back with baby number two!

Michelle, Emma and their team are absolutely amazing. They are always accommodating and put the children and families first. Our little one really came out of her shell by being here and we are so grateful! The centre itself is fantastic and the activities the children do from day 1 make such a difference to their development. Can’t sing their praises enough!

Guardian has been an exceptional experience for my oldest son who has been with the centre for over 2 years. We specifically sought out a centre that demonstrated the core values of a Reggio Emelia approach to early childhood learning and this has been so valuable in our son's development. The children are encouraged to explore their interests and curiosity in a warm and supportive environment. Hugs are always on offer for those tough moments and the educators knew my child's personality inside out. Communication through Storypark has been wonderful and the Kindy educator - Shayne - is a truly gifted teacher.Thank you to all the staff at Guardian Queen Street for giving our boy a great start to life.

Service quality of the child care was good for the first month since enrolling my daughter. But it all started to degrade since February when the childcare became busier and when I came to find my daughter hungry, with a soiled nappy (nappies were provided by me) which had not been changed. She received no help with potty training in the new environment of the child care, in spite of the fact that she had already been fully potty trained at home. My daughter was neglected though they knew about her poor social interaction skills.Last Friday, my daughter was taken to another room, without the teachers informing me, and naturally I was worried not to find her in her room at first. This happened thrice in total. On one occasion, I found my daughter in wet pants and tops, though she had her spare clothes, which no one had bothered to put on her although I had asked an educator to do so. I waited for 30 minutes and the educator did not even let me know if the spare clothes, had been found or not.I have still not been updated on whether the three toys, one lid and one spoon (which had my daughter's name written on them) that were lost have been found. Moreover, I found my daughter yesterday eating her food with her eyelids and mouth covered in some sand, and colors on both hands. Such disregard for hygiene worried me all the more.I had been ignoring all these all until today, when something happened that crossed all limits. Two kids were playing at a table when my daughter wanted a toy apple from that table. But the other kids would not let her play with them. One of them pushed her and my daughter and the other kid started crying. The educator comforted the other kid, holding the apple toy in her hand all the time. My daughter was still crying. All she wanted was the apple (no one was playing with that toy, that was just lying on that table). However, instead of giving her the toy and settling the matter, the EDUCATOR kept comforting the other one- that was not the issue. My daughter just wanted the apple, which the EDUCATOR did not give her. Nor did she say a single word to my kid to sooth her. Rather she simply gave my kid a cold look and put the apple back on the table and comforted the other baby again. My daughter was stranded all alone, helplessly crying and clueless. All this happened in front of my eyes and not once did the educator realize that I am the mother of the kid that was crying. I can't help but say that this was utterly discriminating behaviour and absolute neglect towards my daughter.*This is supposedly a high pay child care". kids are being regularly neglected doesn't make me think you can call this a child care."

I cannot rave enough about the Queen Street Guardian! I was nervous about starting my almost 2YO daughter as she had not been in any formal day care prior to attending. The facilities are amazing! The carers are so attentive and my LO just loves going. I'm been so impressed with how well they have got to know my daughter in the time she's been there. A great find!

A very bad experience. Changed from previous daycare due to work location. Never had any issues in previous, and zero issues in current daycare - my little boy has always been very happy and relaxed with anyone - except at Guardian Queen Street. Not warm or caring. Food was terrible; my little boy lost weight in the 3 weeks he was there (for the first time in his life). My son developed a bad rash around his mouth because dummy was put in nonstop all day (usually only sleeps with it), dummy often not cleaned, covered in jam/margarine. Educators would not listen to me at all that my son needs 2 naps (completely average for his age), his sleep became completely erratic while there, despite never having issues before. As the weeks went on, my son would become extremely upset at drop off and when I would arrive to collect him, he would already be crying and looked as if he had been for a long time. No/sparse information on Storypark app - no info on food/sleep and “daily”photos uploaded often weeks/months later. Staff turnover seems high. We took our son out urgently on a Friday and started a new daycare on the Monday, hence not getting a chance to do “stay and play” in his new daycare - he is SO happy in the new daycare. By the second day, zero tears at drop off, happy and smiling, eating and sleeping well, with warm, caring people who update us every day. I never usually write reviews but if I had seen a recent review of the baby room in Guardian, I could have saved myself and my son a lot of stress and upset.

We couldn't be happier with Guardian - Queen Street. Contrary to previous reviews, we have had such a positive experience. We find the staff not only super friendly but very attentive to our son. The centre itself is only about a year old and they constantly change the environment to engage the children. They are always posting summaries of the daily activities on Storypark and they're always different and things I wouldn't think of at home. I get a genuine sense that the staff really care about our son and that's a comforting feeling.

Our daughter is attending the childcare since 2 weeks. We had a very good experience up till now.The staff is very friendly and the educators pay attention to our daughter. It is so satisfying watching our daughter playing happily with other kids (on storypark).Thank you all for your efforts. We hope that this continues and our daughter enjoys even more going forward.
