Went to the Come and Try. The coaches were really welcoming and friendly. Learnt a lot and keen to try archery some more!

Extensive facilities and great people make the Tuggeranong archery club a great place to learn the sport, art and science of archery and be part of the great community which surrounds it.Four years ago I was a beginner and was hooked at the come and try sessions. I've found the facilities great and coaches to be friendly and experienced (update: now I am one), everyone is keen to give a hand if needed. The outdoor, indoor and extensive field areas and workshop provide the foundation. The club is alive and passionate and I'm looking forward to making the most of this local gem.Check out the website for events and details.

Fantastic coaches, and very good equipment too - they even gave me a finger guard! My shooting fingers felt so much better! The range was huge and the grounds were beautiful on a sunny winter Canberra day.I loved the little challenges during the beginner training session, and really enjoyed the volleying session where we all shot at the same time on command as if we were medieval military archers.There was also a nice demonstration of different arrows including a whistling arrow, and a bird shooting arrow. Club members and coaches seem quite serious about their hobby. They also have fun group activities and competitions, so it would be a great place to join as a member because of the variety and lots of things to do, apart from just shooting and improving one's skill.

A great experience for all generations of the family. Fun and safe with enthusiastic instructors. No experience required to have a fantastic time.

One of the best places to play pickleball, good amenities, and plenty of room for parking.

Had a great time at their come&try session today. Very helpful friendly coaches to make sure everyone had a safe(!), fun time. Next time I'm hoping to actually hit the targets...

Spacious and nice flooring however can be super hot in super and lacks proper ventilation.
