Pete's Village Bakery
Lady didn’t wear gloves while making my sandwich. Her nails were filthy and she looked like she had very poor hygiene and gum disease. I ended up throwing in the bin. I should have said something. I think they need a visit to check if they comply with food safety. Don’t recommend. Won’t be returning.

As I do whenever I go away, I try a curry pie from all the local bakery's. I call it my Curry pie trail. This Curry pie was ok the pastry was light and crunchy on the top seemed like it was in the warmer for a very long time and it only had three chunks of beef which was disappointing it had very runny gravy and the Curry was not really that spicy or tasty. Overall was only a average 2 * pie from all the 100's I have tried in Australia.

Very great service, good quality food and the staff are always cheerful. I got there before it opened but he served me so I didn't leave empty handed. I highly recommend them 110%

The Achilles Heel of Pete's Bakery. Everything else, the pies, the pastries all usually a brilliant feed. The Veggie Pastie however is an utter fail.... Grey in colour and tastes sour! Maybe a dud one...? The Crows out the back loved it though.

Best salad rolls around and super filling. Also sweet things are beautiful, lots of choice and their apple Charlotte's are to die for, apples still got some crunch, nice fresh cream, perfect spounge and perfectly balanced, DONUTS are delish and awsome bread. TRY their bacon & cheese loaf (to order) yummy for toast lathered in butter (naughty) but worth it!

This bakery has a huge selection, with a small army of workers to cater to the masses. You can tell this place has been here since the ‘80’s, so it’s got quite a following. One of the best bakeries in Yandina.
