HANDS DOWN worst company I have EVER dealt with in my life! I can’t believe they haven’t been shut down yet. Our family home burnt down at Christmas last year and we have had to knockdown and rebuild. But before the knockdown can even commence we need to get our electricity “abolished”. Only Jemena are able to do this as they are the provider. I am holding back unleashing when I tell you it has taken 2 months for a job that was supposed to be completed within 20 days!!! And still nothing!!!! Constant lies about getting a “call back” after contacting them over 15 seperate occasions. There has NEVER been a call back just constantly telling me “I’ve added this to the notes and this is being escalated to our higher up team”. I have contacted the Energy Ombudsman and they will be sorting you right out. And if there is any other company reading this and wanting to take over Jemena, I’m telling you now it wouldn’t be hard. It should be a crime to run a company this badly. If I could rate them -1000 times I would!

3 outages within a month, each time running beyond the stipulated time of 4 pm in Rosanna!! Disrupting our daily life and peace of mind. Supposed to be a planned outage with no information being sent out to the people affected. Jemena it is time, you put your act together. I wonder why is the Federal government putting up such an inefficient company!

Very bad, shocking service! If i could give 0 stars i would! We had a black out in the area and then after a while we had a message came through to tell us about it. I had the tv on and when the power came back on it didn't work. I notified jemena and they told me I needed to take it to a repair shop to confirm that it was the power outage that did it. The tv was about 1 year old so it wasn't old and never had a problem with it before. So they expected me who is on a disability pension to try and get the tv to a repair shop with no car and pay for it before they would do anything! I have come to the realisation that I am better off saving to buy a new one instead of trying to save to catch a taxi to repair shop and paying them then having to catch another taxi home!!! I understand that they would reimburse me the amount it cost at the repair shop but I just don't have that money floating about, I'm having trouble just trying to pay rent etc.

Worst company ever. Repeatedly turning off power in Greenvale area for some maintenance. Wont allow residents access to homes by vehicle, power has been off over 10 hours now. No one answers the customer service line. They have repeatedly done this every other week since November. When you actually go look at their employees at work" you see 2 people working and 25 standing arpund talking laughing and just doing nothing. Keep it up jemena you pos"

Was on the phone to chat to someone about my solar enabling for 40 minutes before I had to hang up. Sick and tired of blaming the lack of customer service on COVID. If they are good enough to charge for power and gas, they should also provide the service required. not happy!

We had several truck appointments booked and confirmation emails and texts received prior. No one showed up on the day. Now we are left without power along with 3 other dwellings with no advice as to when it will be switched back on.

One of the worse businesses to deal with. They lack empathy and clarity.I've been told so many different things regarding a power outage.Never dealt with such a difficult company as I have done with jemena.As a customer all I'm asking for is a definitive answer and the story changes weekly.Seeing all the other reviews I see I'm not the only one to have trouble with this company.

My electrician have applied for a new meter like 5 months they never rocket up and I applied for after hours they came didn’t installed they told to change the lock from padlock to vpi lock and they steel haven’t installed. Not sure what kind of service is that, im just thinking to installed myself rather they installed for me.Not happy with the customer services

Worst company. Left us without power for 2 days sleeping on the floor at someone else's house because at 8pm at night they changed their minds on what wanted to be done. Left us with no chance to have it fixed and then didn't come back out till midnight the next night. Horrible experience and will be filling for compensation and if we aren't satisfied with their response we will be taking it to the energy and water ombudsman.
