Plumbdog Plumbing South Perth - Leak Detection, Blocked Drains, Hot Water Systems

Unfortunately, Plumbdog's business model effectively traps customers into accepting quotations. I had purchased a hot water system online with Plumbdog including part installation. However, Richard quoted me a price to install that was in the vicinity of $600 more expensive than 2 other plumbers. So I didn't accept the quote. Unfortunately, there was no refund on the installation installment or the hot water system. The only option offered by plumbdog was 80% refund of the water unit. (citing a 20% restocking fee even though I had never even received it).This was after the fact that Richard had cut off our gas to the house, and written a report to ATCO (citing low pressure) and charged almost $1000 for the inconvenience. Work that was also harshly questioned by 2 other plumbers.I understand that businesses need to make money. But when a plumber makes $1000 for a few hours work we didn't really want then quotes very high, You'd think that it would be no skin off their nose to refund the original payment if the client chooses not to go with the quote. Especially since the product hadn't even been delivered yet.Just felt that everything was about the money, so cannot recommend this service. Be very careful if ordering online since the conditions state there are no refunds and I guarantee that the installation cost will be way more than your down payment.

We have had other plumbers trying to fix our air con from flooding the bathroom to no avail until Richard had a look at it. He spotted the problem right away, he fixed it quickly and was very neat - tidying up as he worked so as not to get sand through the house. He was very reliable and reasonably priced - and a good laugh. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

Richard Palmer of Plumbdog South Perth did a really good job at my property recently by locating the leak and then repairing a section of the burst hot water pipe. His work was very neat and he left my property in a clean and tidy state.

Have used Rich on a couple of occasions now - offered a prompt, efficient service with a minimum of fuss. Saved $$$ by not doing any unnecessary work, but got the jobs done. Will happily call on him again.
