Beaches Babysitting Service

I highly recommend Beaches Babysitting for overnight stays.Ellie looked after our 6 and 10 year old children for a night, plus our dog and cat and she did a brilliant job taking care of them all.She picked our kids up from school, made them dinner and managed the whole night time routine and got them ready for school the next day. The kids were happy and they had lots of fun with her. We have 100% trust in Ellie - she is experienced, professional and highly communicative with us. She sent us regular updates and we knew our children were well taken care of. She's one of the best.

I have been using Beaches Babysitting on a weekly basis for the last year and the below review from Renee is entirely inconsistent with my experience. Ellie and her team have been completely professional, reliable and a joy to have in our home. Our daughter is Ellie's biggest fan! Would 100% recommend.

We have used Beaches Babysitting many times now, since we are originally from the Uk and have no family who can help here. Whenever we have contacted Beaches Babysitting, Ellie has always been very responsive and helpful when we’ve been looking for a babysitter. We’ve really loved all of the babysitters provided, and trust Ellie to find us the right person. I don’t think we have ever been let down, and that’s important when you’re looking for care for your children. Highly recommend if you need a reliable and qualified sitter or nanny in the Beaches area!

We had a very positive experience with Beaches Babysitting. We got married in Whale Beach and needed a babysitter to look after our 6 month old baby. We were nervous as we’d never used a babysitter before. Fiona was fantastic and we were so happy with her. She made us feel very relaxed and reassured and our baby seemed very happy too. I have used Beaches Babysitting a few times now for my 1.5 year old. Ellie and Fiona were fantastic with her and made very good impression, as my little one would keep asking about them days later.What I love about this service is that you can request for a qualified sitter without organizing many weeks in advance and they endeavor to keep same sitter between jobs for consistency, all while being extremely communicative and lovely people.I would highly recommend! I will never use Beaches Babysitting in future, it would have been the first time using this service. I found Ellie never took the time to understand the situation and confused things between me and the Babysitter. When i expressed that she had misunderstood things she never apologised and tried to turn it all around on me, when i stood up for myself she then placed the blame onto the babysitter and then when i expressed how uneasy she had made me feel and that I was disappointed in how she had handled things, she cancelled the job at 10pm the night before. This obviously left me very stressed and upset and in tears wondering what i was going to do, not to mention the loss of money as I couldn't attend the function I'd bought tickets to as well as all other costs associated and disappointment to all involved. My 7 year old Daughter was so excited as she had never been minded by anyone other than family before so she had drawn the babysitter a picture to give her. The following morning, the first thing my daughter said to me was 'mum I'm so excited the babysitter is coming today', through tears i had to explain to her the Babysitter was not coming. I am very disappointed in the communication or lack thereof and unprofessional way this business is run, not to mention not being able to handle constructive criticism. As I said I would definitely avoid leaving my children with such a mismanaged company.Reply to Beaches Babysitting's response to the above;I am still very upset and disappointed in the way I was treated hence why I decided to leave a review of the situation that I have every right to share.Yes I called the day before to query the cancellation policy not to cancel the job. After you misunderstood that and I explained to you and the Babysitter that the child that was unwell would not even be at the house when the babysitting occurred, both you and the Babysitter were happy to go ahead. It was not until I said to you that I was unhappy with how you had handled things that you cancelled the job. I to have kept all text messages and you have my voicemail that very clearly stated that I was calling to see what the cancellation policy was and that I hoped it wouldn't come to that. Not once have you acknowledged misunderstanding the situation.Message from the Babysitter after I explained that you had confused the situation;'thank you for getting back to me! all okay miscommunication happens all the time! im so excited to come tomorrow and hang with the girls.see you tomorrow!! :)'Message from you after quering the cancellation policy that you took as me wanting to cancel the job and after me explaining that wasnt the case;'Unfortunately, I am currently out of office.As stated in our policy all parties need to be fit and well for work to commenceIf you feel this is all good then sure go ahead. I am unsure of what *babysitter name* has sent. I just mentioned what was said in the texts and voice message.Please note: that we are more than happy for work to commence so long as all parties and healthy and not at risk of getting any illness / sickThanks , Ellie'Again, the job was not cancelled due to my daughter being unwell it was cancelled once I shared my disappointment in how you handled the sitution, which was after the above replies from you and the Babysitter.This is the chain of events that you have very clearly and conveniently taken out of context for your own benefit.

Ellie from Beaches Babysitting has cared for my son for 1.5 years and we are so grateful she is part of our family. She started with us he was 4 months old and would always ensure his routine was followed and needs were met which put my nerves at ease. She is very warm and reliable and my son absolutely loves her. We booked Ellie for our 2 year old son for an evening out. She was very communicative prior to our booking and arrived early to go through everything for his dinner, bath and bedtime routine. Ellie sent a few texts and photos throughout the evening to let us know how things were going. She was so lovely with our son and was super supportive of his current potty training needs. He was sound asleep when we got home and loved spending time with her. I'd highly recommend Beaches Babysitting for anyone looking for a kind, reliable and trustworthy sitter.
