Top Ryde City Watch Centre

These guys are 2 minutes from my home but I'll happily go absolutely anywhere else to avoid giving them my money. Charge too much and do shotty work.

Dodgy n overpriced. I asked about a generic battery that's available in supermarkets for 1/3 their price.

Water resistant 10 year watch battery changed - watch stopped working in a week because badly rusted when re-opened by this store. Alleged advice which not given to the wife by pointing to one of many signs blanketing the premises. Happy to charge for just changing the battery when knowing without more this would result in a destroyed watch. Shockingly bad attitude and customer service.Avoid!

Nothing actually gets fixed here, it'll break again within days.

Longine watch put in for battery change. Watch returned with winder broken. Avoid unless you want to spend more money on repairs.

The shop certainly rips you off! Overcharge in changing battery! Don’t waste your money, go elsewhere.

Two watches had their batteries changed here, both watches batteries died within weeks. I suspect he is using very cheap chinese batteries and selling them as expensive genuines. Probably best if you avoid this business at all costs.

Its a pity i checked the Google reviews after going here. I had put my watch in for a simple battery change ($25). There was nothing wrong with my watch. Picked it up and within days the winder wasn't working and the arms were loose. Had to take it back and spent more money then to have it fixed ($45). Not to mention the bad customer service and attitude when I queried what was wrong. Will NEVER to there again. I suspect this guy is doing dodgy work to get more money. Avoid at all costs!
