Broulee Beach
Lovely family beach, very little rips when we were there, so felt safe without patrols. Great fir younger kids and learn to surf, boogie boards

A beautiful place to enjoy the water with or without waves. It is a picturesque place to picnic, walk and swim and surf.

Long beach with waves just high enough for learning to surf. Beautiful green water with intermittent waves. Sand is very fine, will stick to your body and find its way into everything. Wind can be seen blowing the sand off the surface of the beach given how fine it is.

Fantastic. The water level is perfect to really go into the ocean and enjoy the waves and although it might not matter to a lot but the “squeaky” sand does add an element to the visit. It can get busy during weekends but a lovely beach after all.

Nice beach. Waves were rolling a bit quick for my beginner surfing skills but how can you lower a rating based on the waves on a particular day? I had a lovely paddle around and even caught a few. Good long board day. No clue if that’s consistent conditions as I only attended once but take that as you will

Awesome beach. Little river that has fish in it for the snorkelers. Check the tide though as a few hours each side of high tide is ideal. Bridge to jump off for the adventurous and adventurous at heart. Beach good for surfing, sand castles and playing around.

A brilliant beach. It's quite popular these days. Gets very busy at holiday times. Only a short drive from Batemans Bay and surrounds. The beach is quite scenic, and has headlands the the north and south. It's also an ideal place for people who want to learn to surf. Surfing lessons are available here. There's a takeaway shop close by too. Definitely one of the best beaches on the south coast!

Lovely beach, with this section on the very left side with no waves so very suitable for small children, and a playground as well

Definitely my favourite neighbourhood beach, dog friendly as well. My dog loves it, very calm on the southern end. Dogs aren't allowed on Shark Island sanctuary but there's plenty of beach leftover to play
