Don't trust their building work extremely rude people

We awarded this company the contract to repair render cracks and flaking on our exterior garage wall as well and relaying new tiling to the entrance of our building which had efflorescence coming through the tiling. The contract value was $68k. After just over 18 months the render is not only cracking again but soon to fall off in chunks. Todd had said the issue was due to no expansion joints. Now that he has put expansion joints in and is blaming the cracking to excessive building movement and has told us to go seek help from an engineer. There is just as much efflorescence coming through on the tiling now as there was before. He now says that efflorescence cannot be stopped and we must maintain the tiling with cleaner. He originally convinced us to re-tile the area as he claimed the waterproofing was not done properly and this was the cause of the efflorescence.He has walked away from both issues and we have not heard from him again, after informing him that we will be contacting fair trading.Watch this space!
