Amazing hospitality and service. I was traveling along the area and planned to have lunch here for my wife’s birthday, I couldn’t have picked a better place! The staff was so friendly and attentive, really made her day special by giving us an excellent experience. Please do the free distillery tour, it’s really interesting. Buy the signature drinks, they’re delicious. Definitely worth the drive from Adelaide or any place.

My friends and I love coming here for the tasting and a few gins. We love the apple sour cocktails.The Japanese inspired street food was very tasty as well

We had a fantastic afternoon, tasting the delicious range of gins and liqueurs and enjoying the amazing cocktails. Wunna was a brilliant host and could share the stories behind the products. We really enjoyed seeing Australian botanicals highlighted and celebrated. We highly recommend.

My friend and I had THE BEST time at Applewood. The incredible service of Wunna and Pippa made the entire experience. They educated us on Australian botanicals and introduced some basic flavours ofIndigenous cooking. Their warmth and passion made our trip. Thanks guys ☺️PS Get the potato gem. So good.

Loved this place. You can buy gins that are exclusive to the distillery. Great atmosphere, customer service and flexible with the tastings. Also their gins are amazing.

I have been a fan from Melbourne for some time. Getting to the distillery was a bucket list item. So pleased we made it, shared two flights of gin, blew us away. How good is the gin, how good are the staff, how fabulous are the surroundings. Can’t enthuse enough, proper destination if you are in the Adelaide Hills!!!

Came here for a tasting, and was very happy to end up on a behind the scenes group tour of the winery and distillery with Henry. Ended with a few flights of gin. They were sold out of a lot of food, so definitely a boozy arvo but a fun one.

Great time at Applewood tasting the taster boards and other varieties of gin. Great service with detailed briefing on the business and variety of gins. Comfy place to relax inside whilst it rains outside. Fun had by our group of 6, very accomodating.
