Pethers Rainforest Retreat

The staff are wonderful and helpful. The rooms feel private and individually have a beautiful view. Water pressure is good in the rooms and they all have a jacuzzi tub.There is a few shops and restaurants a short walk away. There is also great hiking spots near by!

Great setting, but the rooms are old and tired, Think early 90s cream tiled bathrooms - that aren't super clean.Damp & musty.Don't waste your time with the food thereNot worth the money, we won't be back.

Perfect relaxation location... great to stay any time of year but definitely worth a visit in cooler months to enjoy fireplaceRestaurant on site is also worth booking

We really enjoyed our stay at Pethers, the tree-houses are so spacious with a beautiful rainforest outlook & they make for an excellent weekend getaway. Prior to check-in, we had arranged a massage package & this was on-time and very relaxing. We also stayed on a night that the restaurant was offering their 3-course set menu which was delicious. I was really pleased that Pethers was able to cater for my gluten-free request in the restaurant as well as in our breakfast hamper. It was lovely to have the fire going & listen to the birds.

Scenery driving onto Pethers property was stunning , Door at reception set the scene for your experience how beautiful your Room would be. Heading down to our room was an adventure. Room 6 was isolated and hidden which we loved and was so peaceful. So glad we got room 6 it was so private. Once inside room it was very large comfy and cosy. So romantic.. Our Bed was a King size and the mattress was like sleeping on a cloud best stress free sleep ever and the pillows was perfect for me . However I expected goodies in room like biscuits or something to nibble on when you have a cuppa. Maybe a gift basket in room with nik nacks. Would be nice to have a teapot for cuppa's. Main restaurant area was lovely. We took a takeaway breakfast back to our room and paid an extra $25 to stay to 1300.The pathway to Room wasn't well lit. So use a phone torch as it is very dark when coming back to room at night.Also be careful of driveway as other 3rd party vehicles are exiting and entering property and it can be tricky .

Went there for dinner with my partner - no resort stay. Stupidly expensive dinner for the kind of food being offered, was expecting something a bit finer for $110 per person (excluding drinks, too) but didn’t get anything even close to that. Food was good but I wouldn’t expect to even pay half of what we did for what was given

The nicest accommodation we have stayed in . So tranquil and secluded and being in the middle of the forest Amazing. We could not have asked for more . The staff so friendly and obliging . The Restaurant divine and scrumptious. Hats off to the chef. We enjoyed the spa Bath with the outlook of the forest and the bed was so comfortable . We would definitely love to make this an Annual Event .

Amazing location with beautiful private view of rainforest from tree house , loved the spa bath , fireplace and the oversized spaces. New driveway makes access very easy , with shops on Main Street just a 10 minute walk. Very friendly local staff who are happy to recommend things to do. Was nice surprise to receive complimentary wine tasting vouchers.Will definitely be back.

Amazing big rooms! Had a lovely massage. Very clean and quiet. Went in January for my birthday and had a lovely night. Unfortunately the main bar area closed early and they didn’t have dinner options but we went to gallery walk for delicious Thai.The bath is huge and they have candles and nice looking out to the trees.Highly recommend this for quiet getaways, tree house experience and fair rates compared to others we were looking at.

It was a very good experience. The room is very spacious. We went there at Christmas time so most of the attractions were closed. Therefore we spend our time instead. Lovely view. Comfy bed.Close to various cafes. Good breakfast in the morning. You can just spend the day sitting outside and reading a book and looking at the rain forest.
