Great place to take the kids. Plenty of space to run around safely and a good range of play equipment. Only downside was we had to clean up our table where there had been a party the night before (lots of cans, broken bottles, cigarette ends, a fireplace, and heaps of takeaway trash).

A very beautiful walking area full of native trees, plants and wildlife.Amazing amenities and fabulous maintenance. You can visit the analysis centre or have a barbecue under sheltered picnic spotsAlso gym and playground equipment scattered around this wilderness area.A flying fox for endless fun and a beautiful lake.It loses a star because you're not allowed to access the water or fish. WHY??

Several nice circular walks around the lake and through the bush land. Dogs are allowed on leash which is great, but caution is advised with snakes during certain seasons. Plenty of wildlife to see and great for photography. A children’s play ground is towards one side of the wetlands, and there’s a runners circuit track round the lake too.

Great outing for dogs. If you know the place well, you will find a few tracks that go to the water. The circuit is 3km in total. It's also good for taking children for bike/scooter rides. An easy route for beginners.

Excellent park with walking/cycling paths which are well maintained. Clean public amenities and BBQ and picnic tables and seats.Dogs allowed on leash, and poop bags provided for hygiene.Areas suitable for free entertainment for small and large groups alike.A great place for families and friends to enjoy the great outdoors without having to spend huge amounts of money.A interesting place for watching bird life.Good access for people with disabilities to all areas, including bush walking paths. I am not sure if there is a wheelchair accessible toilet. However, whilst none of the toilets are male/female designed, I did see rails in all the toilet cubicles. The toilets are quite low, but the rails make it easier. It may be more difficult for people with more severe disabilities.

Such a peaceful place to spend the day with the family. I didn’t realise how big it was. So many tracks and trails to walk, ride or exercise the dog (yes leashed animals are welcome). So much bird life from Pelicans to Osprey. There is even a photographers hide to capture the osprey in flight. The viewing platform gives a great view of the pelicans sunning themselves on the rocks. The whole area is wheelchair friendly too.

Great place for cycling and for family activities . Photo shows where I left my keys in my car whilst cycling. The area seems to be very safe.
