I would have to say this is by far the best chicken shop in Canberra. They specialise Portuguese style chicken, and no other place matches the quality of chicken they make. The breast of the chicken, which is the leanest part, normally tastes dry and hard to eat, but they make theirs juicy and delicious. The only drawback is they can improve on their chips a bit as it's not the best chips I've had.

We ordered The Kukula burger and it was really delicious, loved the sauce they used. Also the charcoal burger is just an amazing. My husband is vegetarian, he also enjoyed the vegetarian burger. The customer services was good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Definitely going to visit this place again and try other dishes from the menu.

I recently visited this restaurant and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience. I ordered a simple chicken sandwich and waited for 25 minutes before it was finally brought out to me. However, when I received the sandwich, it was completely cold and unappetizing.I politely asked for a warm sandwich, but the replacement sandwich looked completely different and was clearly not prepared fresh. To make matters worse, the customer service was extremely arrogant and seemed upset that we were complaining about their poor quality of service.Overall, I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. The poor service, cold food, and arrogant customer service were unacceptable. I even have video evidence of the situation. I hope that the restaurant can take steps to improve their service and avoid similar situations in the future.

We were tossing up between a few places but ended up deciding to come here and we're glad we did.Fresh, bold flavours, helpful staff, really big seating area, and great portion sizes especially for the very reasonable prices.

Their grilled chicken is always good, full of flavour and charcoal smoke. Their chips are one of the best I have ever tried. They were crispy golden delicious. The only gripe I have is that there was just strange smell in the restaurant towards the back part.

We had the whole chicken and kukula fries ($26). The meal was a great value. It was our first time having char grilled chicken, service was good. Fries were well seasoned. You can choose the sauce coated on the chicken, we got bbq rib.

It was good meal with the value deal. The chips were great! The bread and hummus was ok ok and the rice dish was really good. Good experience overall with decent pricing!

We have been here two times. The food is nice however you have to be happy to wait 30-60’mins, the problem is it wasn’t even busy, I get it if it’s busy that’s understandable, the first time the owner walked over and apologised and said sorry for the wait, that was like 30 mins wait there was only me and my friend in the shop, we went back the following day, there was lucky 5-7 people in the restaurant and 4 different tables all complaining about how long it was. They where bringing out the wrong things to tables and people sending back the food saying it wasn’t ours, then 1 hour later they brought our quarter chicken and said the chips are on the way. We had finished the chicken waited another 10 mins and my friend walked up to the register and said. Is this a joke? Cancel the chips I’ll get a refund, it’s such a shame the restaurant has a lot of potential. They need to train there staff properly. Maybe get a manger who has experience in running a restaurant and a team. Other wise it won’t last
