Sandringham Library

Very good. Staff high level of help..

The opening hours are a joke. A public library that people who work full time hours can't really visit.All Bayside libraries should absolutely open on at least one day per weekend.

Fantastic library with great staff. The modernisation of Sandringham branch is terrain. Very impressed by Kanopy on line video library and Hoopla digital offerings too. Well done Bayside!

I could gush!The staff, the books, the space...one Saturday I was offered biscuits and coffee as I curled up with a good read.I read this quote today, and it was a perfect summary of the importance of our Sandringham library in our community.Author and poet Maya Angelou on how libraries changed her life:All information belongs to everybody all the time. It should be available. It should be accessible to the child

They have desk+chairs for students at the back, but not very many (it's a smallish library) and an area for kids, as well as some comfy chairs and more tables for newspaper readers. The parking is limited here (2 hours max). The library staff seem friendly and helpful. They have some services but not everything a library could have. The building is a bit old, the toilet is very old and there's only one for everybody. It's a nice library just a bit old and small. **Edit they are renovating now and I'm very sad I can't use this library anymore as it was one of my favourites. I really like libraries that have nice big bright sunny windows. I'm worried their renovations won't have as many nice big windows. I'll miss this place... I hope they renovate it well as it was actually a nice space.

Beautiful, newly renovated library in Bayside.

This is a very very good library. The staff are all well informed and friendly. Nothing is too much for them. A good choice of books, audio books, Wi-Fi, and you can sit and read peacefully. Also have periodicals, like New Scientist etc. Of course newspapers.

If you need a place to read a book or a newspaper or even to work, they have it all. I recommend it!
