This place was. Amazing, we were there on a Saturday morning and it was packed. Seems to be the local meeting place. Coffee was perfect and the staff were overwhelmed but cheerful and helpful. I would recommend if you were passing through Fitzroy Crossing, stop for a coffee, you won’t regret it.

Good healthy and tasty food. Exceptionally clean and very welcoming staff. Very enjoyable sitting on the large outdoor undercover deck. Great for large groups as there is ample seating. A good selection of hot and cold food and drinks and also a local art display in an adjoining room. Happy to keep going back to support this business.

Second time we have been most pleasantly surprised! First time we thought everything tasted so delicious because we had been deprived of urban amenities for too long, but this time we had only arrived to Fitzroy Crossing 2 weeks earlier... Their coffee is comparable to the best we could get in Melbourne, their breakfast dishes simply delicious and beautifully presented, and good value for money despite the remote location - would have paid more for the same in Melbourne or Sydney. Plus, you get served by cheerful staff with beautiful smiles, and the environment is very nice and relaxing!

Surprised to find high class restaurant in such a remote town. Staffs are friendly. Cheff Diana is creative and passionate about healthy food and supporting local aboriginal communities by training and employing them. Owned by aboriginal organisation Marra Worra Worra. Felt good to support them by dining at Jalangurru. They also have art gallery where one can buy art work by local artists.

A great idea, this is a social enterprise that trains staff in hospitality while encouraging a healthy diet for its customers. It's a pleasant space amidst the heat and dust of the town. Let down a little by execution og dishes - my bacon was overcooked and my partner's poached eggs were underdone - but overall this is a good spot to while away a bit of time.

Food is terrific. Love that it is a training kitchen for local kids. I also applaud the variety of salads and protein that I have had there. This is a remote place - they are creative with the produce they grow and acquire.

Great little cafe with excellent staff and tempting selection of cakes etc for morning tea. Wraps and salads looked fresh and delicious. Great coffee too. Can’t fault it. Would be a regular if I were local. Loved the place.
