Treat Me Right

I contacted Dylan for help with my 7 year old Boxer cross who does not like other dogs. When out walking & he saw another dog he would bark, pull & lunge. The final straw was him pulling me over.Dylan was very quick to respond to my plea for help & came over to do an initial bevaviour asserssment.From that a training plan was developed. Dylan was very patient & understanding & has made me much more confident in handling Buddy outside, watching for triggers & how to divert his attention away.After each session Dylan sent a comprehensive overview of the session. With lots of positive reinforcement along the way we have been able to walk with Dylans dog about 5metres away, after only a couple of sessions, something I never imagined could happen.I definitely reccommend Treat me Right & will have some follow up sessions.Gratefull thanks to Dylan & Alfi

Emily and Dylan have been nothing but fantastic! We started out with training sessions for both dogs which made significant improvements within a couple of sessions. And then also had them walk the boys for a number of months where E&D continued training them for us while we were going through a busy patch. Always on time, always communicate clearly, really detailed reporting and SUPER good value for money.

Emily and Dylan have been so great to work with! Our 4 year old groodle, Ringo had always been an easy dog to walk, up until about 10 months ago. Then something shifted in him. He would start barking and lunging at dogs walking past us, even if they were on the other side of the street. But not every time. We could never figure out any common denominator. It got to a point where I had no confidence or enjoyment walking him as I was always on edge about what might happen. He’s 35 kg so if he decided to pull I was going too. So a lot of walking was left to my husband.We got in touch with Dylan at Treat Me Right and haven’t looked back. With his experience he was able to point out what was happening with Ringo’s body language and the signals that he was starting to show signs of stress. He gave us the tools to help Ringo, and the confidence that we were doing things correctly, as we also were learning new ways.Dylan was professional, caring and followed up each session with an email going through what we’d done. At no time was there any ”hard sell” about booking future sessions in.After 4 training sessions, the change in Ringo is significant.Thank you for your help Dylan.

Dylan and Emily are lovely, kind people who have taught us how to better understand our dogs needs. Through our sessions with them, we've been able to learn new training methods and have gained endless helpful advice to use in our everyday when working with our border collie. Our family reached out to Dylan for support with some challenging puppy behaviour. Dylan has given us so many useful tools and tips over the last couple of months. He is patient with humans and an absolute wizard with puppies. We feel so much more confident that we can help Bailey be her best well behaved self. He has guided us through the challenging early stages and we are so grateful.

Our whippet is 17 weeks and has just graduated Treat Me Right puppy class. We have also had a one on one session with Dylan and Emily. They have been amazing. I love that their training is force free and based on research. I feel so much better having clear guidance on how to train and help Normie without causing unnecessary stress for him. Both my partner and I have studied health courses and have an appreciation for evidence based practice. We really idolise them for knowing the latest research and providing us with that information so we can make informed decisions too. The classes and sessions are very good value for money. They really care about our little pup and we have learnt a lot. ❤️

Dylan and Emily are great to work with.We have a very spirited 7 month old german shepherd who was biting , pulling on the lead and rushing at doors and people.Not only did Dylan teach us the ways to kerb these behaviours but we learnt a lot about our pups temperament and emotions.Plus she loves and looks forward to the training sessions
