A Cut Above

Marina is the best hair stylist I have ever had. I have curly layered hair. She listens to what you want. Highly recommend. All staff are very friendly.

The first time I went there I had a lovely experience with one of the women, however a few months ago I walked in to just see if they could fit me in for a trim and the man who talked to me has totally made me feel uncomfortable to go there again. He talked to me with a tone which made me feel talked down to especially as a young woman such as his choice/use of endearing words" and saying that I should book to not be "left feeling disappointed" as if I had some sort of expectation or over the top emotional reaction to them being busy. I'm writing this just because I'm looking to do some colour again and would love to go back because of first lovely experience - but I feel too uncomfortable to even approach the store while he is working."

Such a great salon always accommodating with appointments, great prices, professional friendly staff who make you feel welcome and take the time to listen. I always leave A Cut Above feeling, fresh and fabulous.

Amazing experience! The ladies were so lovely and accommodating! I’m in love with my hair, it was my first time getting a perm and they were just as excited as I was. They offered great advice for styling and what products to use. I’m so excited to go back

I had my hair done by Marina yesterday and am thrilled by how it turned out. This is my third time with Marina and she always gives me exactly what I ask for.

The person who cut, coloured and styled my hair was Melissa. She did an amazing job and her colleague Mel also helped.I was blown away by the team work at this Salon… it was a Saturday and extremely busy. Every time a customer came in, they were treated with respect and as it got busy, each team member worked with their colleagues, to keep their own customer and other customers happy by helping out wherever possible.The hairdressers listened to their clients and did their best to accomodate their needs.I have never seen such happy, collaborative and cohesive team work! I hope they are all paid well as they did this business proud.Thank you Melissa and Team, you truly are A Cut Above the rest!

Been looking for a decent hairdresser who actually listens and looks at a photo of what i wanted and checked in with me and was really accommodating.I returned to SA July2021 and had 3 terrible haircuts then i came here June 2022 and my golly was i blown away. The service is impeccable and i was really looked after the hair cut i wanted i got! I came in for cut FULL foils colour styled $300 and 3hrs later i have been ecstatic with the outcome! I have been retuning ever since! CHELSEA YOU'RE AMAZING AND THANK YOU FOR LOOKING AFTER ME AND MY HAIR!!!!
