Tatas Indian Restaurant
This is a Fiji Indian restaurant and my gosh the food is exquisite. We tried the goat, chilli chicken and jackfruit vegetarian dish.Whilst the food was amazing it is ridiculously expensive and that's the only reason for the 3 stars . If they were decently priced this restaurant would be packed all the time no doubt .The only reason for the 3 stars is for the price of the food .

Tried the masala chicken curry and chilli chicken. Masala chicken curry was delicious and loved it. Chilli chicken too was good and had the right amount of spice that I wanted (may be too spicy for some). However, the chilli chicken had too much of carrot in it. For a moment I thought chilli carrot was garnished with chicken.Both the dishes were too oily and the prices were exorbitant. Not a place that I'd want to frequent considering the prices.Extremely friendly staff though.

Great food, curry's very good flavour and spicy. We had duck curry, lamb curry and chilli chicken. I have never seen a cheese naan like that before and it was awesome.

Awesome the frozen chicken masala curry spicy was yum yum...it was soul soothing plus good quantity n just an awesome experience...trully the only fiji restaurant in sydney by far that gives the taste of the home land...just awesome

Good place to try Fijian Indian dishes. Had the jungli Murga Surwa (Chicken curry) with rotti. Chicken had a nice chew and the curry was aromatic.

Why is this restaurant so expensive ? If they reduced their prices a lot more people would eat there , In your reply you say I have not been to your restaurant we moved to Rooty Hill 7 years ago and about 4 times we dined there , we stopped eating there because of the price and once I would have had to wait 45 minutes for a take away as you serve seated customers first and there was only one table with 4 diners . I thought I would try again some years later and I wanted Nan bread with my order but you told me as business was very quiet you do not turn the Nan oven on as it is to expensive to operate . Two weeks ago I decided to try you again and your on-line price for the meal I wanted was $22 and checking on your menu on your window it was $25 , I did not bother going in but talking to a gentleman outside your shop as he waited outside he complained to me about the prices and the fact he could not get Nanbread , you tried to sell him a cheese roti or some thing he did not want , he did comment to me it was his first time at your shop and it would be his last time need I say more .

Absolutely loved the place, people and obviously the food. It tasted exactly like home. My stomach and heart are so full...I actually got teary..

Friendly people and authentic Fiji Indian cooked meals, I had a delicious jungli chicken cooked in Fiji-style curry blend, plus pumpkin curry and rice. All finger licking delicious. Thank you Umesh and crew.
