Fantastic day out and the brand new Reef Lounge is a great place to watch the races in air-conditioned comfort. It's situated right near the mounting yard and winners post. Inside the Reef Lounge is a well stocked bar, a kitchen in case you get hungry and you can place your bets for any race meeting in the country at the Tote. And so you don't miss any of the racing action, there are several TV's for you to watch

Went to Cairns Cup, nice day but had started running out of food by 1.00pm, were out of any white wine by 3.00pm. Surely they knew they were running low and could have restocked.Also need a few buses after the races back to the city to help clear the crowd, not enough taxis with staff shortages at the moment.

Payed nearly $300 for a ticket they ran out of some types of alcohol hrs before it shut and didn't restock it.

We had a table of 10 non members $ 60 each on 3rd Aug at cup meeting. Included $20 entry & a small platter. That was the biggest waste of money we had spent. We did have a tablecloth & chair under a marquee, near bar & fashion parade. Far away from seeing horses in parade ring and track. Will not recommend paying $60 p.p. for what we got. Total rip off. Also had to buy lunch another poor decision. It would be better if you were able to take your own nibblies as they don't even sell chips or peanuts as when you have a drink it is nice to have something to eat.

Horse races are good.Not enough seats available, while I saw stacks of plastic chairs at the back.Long lines at the two bars, not set up efficiently.No staff helping out at the car park upon leaving, no exit signs.

Red Beret 4th Aug 2018. Great vibe in the Canadian Club. Enoyed the rolling food. Woodfire Pizza. ( GREAT variety) Paella. Hot Chips. Duck Spring Rolls. The Live entertainment was on point. Had a great time and won lots of money. Sure beats Ascot Park Perth WA thousands of people long ques. To line up to facilities. Cant beat home grown Cairns . Well done. X
