Hunters Newsagency

Hate having to write this about a local business. Especially after intentionally making the effort to support a local business.Product/service did not live up to expectations. This was only made worse by the lack of customer service involved, especially the communication from management which was unprofessional and showed a lack of care.

Super friendly staff. Everything you need in a newsagents plus a fantastic range of giftware.

Wow! I have never been so disrespected. Almost finished up a tshirt design for NAIDOC through Hunters for an order of 120. Happily corresponding with the Manager/owner himself SCOTT WOODHOUSE. Hadn't heard anything back from him for over 2 weeks and I wondered why? Gave me the run around for while but just found out that all the while he was waiting for me to pay the WHOLE invoice of well over $3000. I might be ignorant, but do people pay without so much as a finalised design on paper?! or was it the nature for which the t shirt was intended? I guess i'll never find out because after I phoned Scott for the last time to get the process moved along he questioned me why i went to him in the first place? say what? I told him that I used him because I knew of another organisation (that I am also apart of) that had used Hunters. I also stated that I knew for a fact that this other organisation had paid half the invoice and once had a physical draft of the shirt paid the rest. I then asked do other organisations pay their invoices without a product? he said NO.So why is my little committee being rejected? draw your own conclusions. I know I've drawn mine.

Opportunity shopping on my part but had great range and some fantastic clothing specials. Friendly staff.

Staff lost a $51.00 sale due to the fact they didn't take my sister's detail to order an item and told her she had to come back during the week and order her item. So we went to Officeworks and spent the money cause they had the item in stock so if your staff member had of took details we wouldn't have gone elsewhere hence you lost that sale.

:) After realising they made a mistake with my order, they chased after me to correct it. Love service like that.
