Very friendly and supportive club. New members (beginners) start on the first Sunday of the month (unless it's a public holiday like April 1 this year). It's a good idea to go the week before to take care of paper work. Remember to take your dog's current vaccination card.Permanent club house with toilets, canteen, and taps for water.

I've found this is by far the best dog training club in Melbourne's eastern suburbs. It caters for dogs at any level of training from naughty puppies to old dogs (who really can learn new tricks). You can even teach your dog tracking (using scent detection) and agility as well as formal obedience training. They even have huskies in the club that pull sleds in snow and giant scooters along bush tracks. The instructors are really patient with difficult dogs and owners who are slow on the uptake. The only downside is not being able to sleep in on Sunday mornings because my dog knows its the morning they get to meet all their friends.

Can only compare to other obedience schools, and sadly this one doesn't stack up. Perhaps it is just too big, but.Again compared to others, you have the head trainer, she/he gives instructions...forward, sit your dog, left turn right turn, type commands. Now generally you would have other trainers, walking along with the dogs and owners and if you weren't getting it right, would stop you and show,how to do it correctly. This never occurred and whilst on trainers, don't know if any are registered trainers, but if you've been going for a while, they ask if you'd be interested in becoming a trainer. Then they complain 4-5 times a session that they are doing this voluntarily and not getting paid(boo hoo) they are however nice people, the dog socialing aspect in itself is beneficial for the dog, l would rate it as a friendly social club,rather than dog obedience

Highly recommend. We go here for obedience and tracking. Hopefully eventually we will start agility if the dog decides he wants to, but right now he is really into tracking. This place gives so many opportunities at an affordable price you won't find elsewhere.

It is incredibly hard work training your puppy sometimes but the trainers are good and if you can see it through then both you and your dog will be the better for it. Off leash park is a bonus where the dogs can run and play and let off steam after an hour or so hard work in class.

Great place to train your dog. Knowledgeable volunteers every week and great to socialise with other dogs!

Great fun for the dog, excellent value with weekly classes at all levels. The dog loves it and as there's lots of classes running at the same time it's a great way for the dog to learn how to behave around other dogs. Trainers are all volunteers and very helpful, I've learned something new every week as a beginner.

Very happy to belong to this dog club. They are very welcoming and knowledgeable. My puppy has turned into a well behaved adult dog and I keep on going to classes because I enjoy it.
