Woodward St Bakery Cafe
What a wonderful place! Loved coming here in our way to explore Cairns. The people here are very kind- we were helped by a very humble and kind cashier from India and got to enjoy loads of delicious pastries. Recommend the almond cross, Portuguese custard tart and the rhubarb danish! Worth the stop.

Great little bakery in suburbia! Excellent range of bakery treats and good range of breads. The breads sell out early though.

Came here mid morning. Not a lot of range in terms of products, but I think things sell out quite early. Had a peach danish which was amazing! Cost was around $8. Coffee was good. A couple of tables outside with most seating inside. Lovely, relaxed atmosphere. Would come here again, but would probably try to arrive earlier in the hopes of a bigger range of baked goods.

Had the bacon eggs breakfast. One of the best sourdough breads I have eaten. Very tasty & food not oily. I've had the pancakes before & they were great to. One of my favourite bakeries

I have lived in the area for a while now and have used this Bakery weekly over them years and have always enjoyed their pastry's but we brought one the other day and well I was a little shocked how much smaller they have gotten over the last year.I get everything is getting harder with the economy but the size of the pastry's have dropped by quite a lot and price has gone up, one reason we loved the place as they were a great size for the money but now I think we may stop going there all together now.Sorry but you need to look or find out why people come to your business and stay consistent.

It's a bakery but doesn't serve pies or sausage rolls.They offered me a $14.50 toasted ham and cheese sandwich on sourdough as an alternative. I declined. A bit pricey...Good selection of sweet pastries.

Woodward St Bakery Cafe
The pastries here are sensational... equal to the best from anywhere. They are worth the drive to pick some up. Perfect puff pastry- light and flaky. Really,!! Oh so good! Nice espresso drinks also. You can eat inside or at the tables outside. Easy street parking.
