Went for lunch on a Tuesday. Beer was flat (and the saddest part was the bar staff noticed and even commented on it but still proceeded to hand over the drinks) food seemed quite pricey. Sign at the front says wait to be seated but after waiting for a few minutes and no staff seemed to be around we just decided to seat ourselves, which was also then commented on by staff. Venue itself was lovely and staff were kind. Just felt that overall there was a bit of a 'care factor zero' vibe.

Great spot! Staff were so lovely, food was timely, had great portions and was delicious! Very clean and well kept. Overall really great vibe. Will return :)

The service was good but could have been a little more attentive but overall great dining experience. The food was well presented and absolutely delicious. I have been there before and I have never had an issue with the quality or th portions of food reasonably priced but definitely worth it. I have no issue recommending The Ox

Amazing!!I've been many, many times, tried many different things on the menu, and nothing has ever disappointed.Kids' meals are great size - definitely get what you pay for in the kids' mealsThe staff are always so attentive & friendly. Always walk around with a smile.Plus. Your cocktails are amazing.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ - 5 stars from this family.Ohhh... also great play space for the children. - various resources for various ages, which is amazing.

The Ox was clean, staff great, venue tidy and modern enough. Drinks fine. The food didn't quite keep up. My chicken burger had a budget chicken patty that just let it down a bit.

Stopped in for lunch. Had the lunch special of Chicken Snitzel upgraded for $2 extra to a Chicken Parmy which cost $17. The lady who served us was lovely. I made a comment about the biscuit recipe on the paper our garlic bread was served on and she came back later with a clean piece of the paper with the recipe for me. Meal was a nice size and the chips were lovely and hot. My Chicken was acceptable but the salad was yuk. It wasn't dressed properly but it was also old and even had slimy pieces in there. The piece of tomato was not fresh. This salad had been sitting in the fridge for way too long.

Came as a large group, was encouraged to order through the QR code although when some did it took nearly 45min for food to arrive.When we tried to complain the blame was shifted to us. Cups weren't removed so table was full of empty cups.Had the steak asked for medium and came out well done and tough as an old boot. Seems they cook uber eats meals before sitting in patrons. Won't be re attending.

I come in often with my partner & always order the chefs specials, every time it’s different dishes which taste amazing. Today we had the chickpea curry & my partner had the cannelloni which was nice. Service is always friendly with a great atmosphere

I was very disappointed with my dinner tonight. I ordered beer battered fish and chips. I got a very overcooked piece of fish and a very lackluster 'salad' (mixed leaf salad with a minimal amount of grated carrot) and not one chip. When I told the waitress she said she'd pass on my complaint. Despite staying for another hour or so, not one staff member approached me to offer an apology or even an explanation.
