Cumberland Dental Invisalign and Braces

I am very happy with my outcome from Invisalign. The process was smooth (not as challenging as I thought it might be). Jack and Angela are very supportive and highly professional. Admin staff were so helpful, especially when I needed to fit appointments around a busy work schedule. I’m glad I chose the team at Cumberland Dental and recommended them with confidence.

I first chose Cumberland because of their good reviews and it didn’t disappoint. Dr Jack Gaffey has taken care of my teeth from Nov 2021 to Jan 2023 for Invisalign. He’s a no-nonsense professional who doesn’t eye for your money and is not the kind who asks you to do this and that treatment for profit. He only does what’s good for your teeth. I was expecting to pay $200 for cleaning and scaling today on my last day of Invisalign review, but I left without paying for anything because I don’t even need them, which is something I would have been asked to do (and pay for) by other dentists based on my past experience! Receptionists Helen and Di have also been lovely and warm all this time, and it felt like talking to long-time friends, putting the cherry on the cake. Note though, that you may not always get an experienced nurse/assistant during your appointment. I was glad to always have an experienced one giving important instructions or doing important things, but I also had encountered a few times at the start of my treatment a less experienced one who hurt my mouth a few times when photographing my teeth (basically squeezing my jaws way too hard when there wasn’t a need to), luckily a few times the experienced one came in to take over and she didn’t hurt me one bit as it’s the camera you gotta ‘squeeze’ not the patient’s jaws! I didn’t point it out to anyone as she seemed quite stressed out and it’s not intolerable. Overall it’s a great experience. Highly recommended if you love both your teeth and money.

The quality of the braces, the staff and the service they give are top tier!! walked out with pearly straight white teeth and and i’ve never been happier. Dr Jack and the nurses are the best!! the front desk ladies are the sweetest and so quick at everything they do. If you want the best, Cumberland Dental is the best.

I am so so happy with the result of my Invisalign treatment. Jack and the team were able to answer any questions I had and make me feel so welcome every time I walked in. The reception staff are really friendly and helpful. I originally had a lot of anxiety about getting my teeth straightened but the whole process went so smoothly that I don’t know what I was worried about!

I had an overall great experience with Jack and Cumberland Dental. Everything was clearly explained to me at the beginning of my consultation, and it was a relatively straightforward process with my braces. I am incredibly happy with my new smile, it is everything I could’ve hoped for!

Disappointing experience due to the policy regarding children/babies attending. I wasn’t intending on bringing my 6m old but due to babysitter canceling I had no choice. I phoned to advise I would be running a few mins late due to this and had my appointment canceled. I was told “the dentist wouldn’t like it if the baby cried“I phoned to clarify policy later and was told they don’t allow any children as “they are not legally obligated to entertain them if they cry”no exceptions. I wasn’t going in for root canal it was an initial consult for invisalign…Ridiculous.In reply, I never expected anyone to entertain my child and this was never even suggested by me. That is not the issue here. Im fully aware of the difficulties of bringing a baby or child to appointments and this wasn’t my plan. My appointment was canceled when I was resorted to bringing a baby (that would more than likely sleep in a pram)To suggest the owner is “understanding of the challenges of parenting “ is completely contradictory to the clinic policy and how I was treated.I guess the business is doing well enough not to need to support parents with young children seeking treatment.
