I had my hair coloured for an event and requested thin natural highlights with brown to light brown to blend with my dark hair. The young hairdresser gave me thick orange highlights with a 1 inch gap from my scalp (it made it look like months of regrowth) with the highlights looking more like tiger stripes than natural. I mentioned a few times why my hair looks so orange but they were adamant it was the “new look”.
