Flour Mill Markets (every FIRST & THIRD Sunday)

Really fun, family friendly markets with lots of great food, fresh produce and some hand made items. They also have live music and picnic blankets to sit on, on the grass under the beautiful trees. Loved the gluten free donuts stand!

Great local market. Its not big but very pleasant location and when are they going to reopen the playground.

One of my favourite markets to visit! We used to come here all the time last year forSunday breakfast as the food stalls here are really good! We love andina for the Peruvian food and cane juice for the perfect beverage to accompany our snacks! Love it!

Interesting little local landmark. Got told about this quaint little market. You get food, fresh produce, home products, children's playground, live music and more. It's nestled within a small dog park and amidst new and old buildings. Bring your dogs and kids for a couple of hours distraction. Street parking only in surrounding streets.

I planted a dwarf flowering gum on my verge 5 years ago. For the first time it flowered during the Xmas season 2021 and was absolutely brilliant orange then it suffered ALL its flowing branches being cut off at the trunk. within 36hrs those branches appeared at a stall at the Flour Mills Market as also confirmed by others with photos. Orange flowering gums are extremely rare. The tree never recovered from the severity of that assault. I now have to replace it. Still not enough for the culprit; again on 27th January this year my Red Flowering gum suffered a similar assault. Thankfully police chased the culprits off.The penalty for such includes; 1 count of malicious damage, and 1 count of Petty theft. The summary combined fines are upwards of $3K plus or up to 5 years in prison.I now have advanced HD CCTV with IR lighting additional to the light pole above. My CCTV records 24x7 and has storage for 30 days.Next time The assailant won't be so lucky and THEY WILL PAY BIG TIME either legally or by other methods.I now know them just need to track them down.

We now live within walking distance of Flour Mill Markets Summer Hill so we popped over for breakfast this morning. The Brekky Sope ($12) made by Maiz Street Food is built over a thick corn tortilla. It includes scrambled eggs, black beans & pickled red cabbage drizzled with house-made chilli sauce. Next door a Macedonian bakery from Kogarah are serving flaky pastry triangles of still-warm meat, cheese & spinach burek ($6). They’re so good I went back for a second cheese and leek burek to take home for lunch. Our final snack was at GFree Donuts where we tried a salted caramel gluten free doughnut ($3). While light and airy it had absorbed a little much oil for my taste. Maybe I just love wheat?The markets had added on a fresh food hall where Backa Sydney were selling shelf-stable salumi and smoked cheese. Glad to have all this just a few minutes walk from my new abode. Would like to see more fresh vegetables & meat available.

Gorgeous little market nestled amongst apartments ( Old Flour Mill Building) in Summer Hill. Crafty stalls/plants/Local honey/food trucks. Lots of room to sit on the grass and eat breakfast or lunch.A playground for children to play too.

Some nice food stalls, savoury and sweet snacks and meals, live music playing, snow cones and face painting for the kids! A few arts and crafts stalls, jewellery etc. Smoked meats and gluten free hot donuts were a highlight for me!

Great place to shop for all your quality continental groceries.
