Seedlings Early Learning - Mitchelton

I cannot recommend Seedlings highly enough. My son started there when he was one and he adores it, he actually grins and runs off when I go to pick him up because he loves the environment and his educators so much. The staff are second to none, they are so supportive and meet your child where they're at to give them the tools they need to achieve their goals. My son's nursery lead educator is now his lead educator in Senior Toddlers which is beautiful - his lead educator has watched him grow from a baby to a toddler! Maybe this is what negative reviewers have misunderstood, that staff sometimes move between rooms? But we think it's great because they get a wide range of experience with different age groups and visits between rooms are encouraged so your child can maintain relationships. I have a second baby now and I have no hesitation in sending him to Seedlings when I go back to work from maternity leave. The staff already know him from when I pick up my toddler and they tell me they can't wait for him to start.

I can only speak to my experience with Seedlings, but as an educator of over 20 years across three continents I would politely suggest I know a thing or two about educational environments. Additionally, I am in a leadership position at a local school, so I suppose one could say I am in the industry. The staff at Seedlings are friendly, accountable and caring. Including being friendly to parents after a tough day at work! All child care centres have challenges, and every time Seedlings Mitchelton has dealt with these in a professional manner.Maybe I could put it this way; I could send my children to any childcare, including the one at the school I work at...but we chose Seedlings. Enough said?

Our daughter has attended Seedlings (formerly Perfect Beginnings) for almost 2 years and we have always been happy with the Centre and standard of care and support provided. There have been some changes over this time but it has been managed with a high level of professionalism by the management team. I would not hesitate in recommending Seedlings to others considering child care in the area.

We have had a great experience at Seedlings (previously called Perfect Beginnings). One of our children is anaphylactic to some foods so we were obviously nervous when he started childcare, particularly as the children bring their own food, but the experience has been wonderful! The children love to share their meal times in social settings and my son has always been safe, no doubt because the staff are attentive. On top of knowing our kids have been in a safe environment, they have learnt so much! The range of activities is fantastic - yard play with the playground as well as obstacle courses, mud kitchen, lots of hands on art experiences, yoga, gardening, and so much more. We also love the excursions to the park nearby - it's so great to see the photos of the kids loving the adventure of it. Our children have always felt loved and supported - their confidence has grown so much! And we have always been able to speak to staff with any questions we have and we've been happy with their responsiveness.

We have had our child at Seedlings Mitchelton since she was 3 months old and could not fault the staff and centre. They have been so good with updates throughout the day and caring for our daughter. They work with us for our daughters routine and preferences.Other centers in the area take money for waitlists and never get back to you but at Seedlings you aren’t just a number it’s a big family and as the saying goes it takes a village to raise a child.

I agree with the prior reviews of this child care centre. The poor management at this service is it’s biggest downfall.Very high staff turnover.

I have been sending my boys here for the past 7 years and have never thought about anywhere else . Management and staff are great . My boys love going here and I highly recommend this centre .

They are amazing my daughter has autism and they have worked with me to help her grow and achieve so much and same with my youngest and my oldest went there too and he loves the educaters still always wants to come in when I pick he's brother and sister up to see them :)

Highly recommend this centre. I enrolled my daughter when she was 15 months old and loved the way the staff helped her to settle in and feel comfortable.7 months later I am amazed at how much she has grown and developed while at Seedlings thanks to the variety and diversity of activities provided. Once a week the centre has a yoga class for the kids which my daughter loves! The children are also given other opportunities to explore their surroundings with group trips to the local park and an on-site garden that the kids help to look after.The staff are so lovely and attentive. My daughter has great relationships with the educators and the other children. I receive photos and updates daily through the app which I think is a great tool.Management has always been very helpful and quick to respond to any queries or issues and I am always met with a friendly smile and hello when I arrive at the centre.I recently enrolled my second child which the educators had gotten to know during pick up and drop off with my daughter. Their rooms are right next to each other so the educators take them into each other room to see each other throughout the day which I think is really lovely.I like that it is a small, community focused centre. It feels like a calmer and more homely environment compared to larger centres with a larger number of kids.Overall very happy with the care and support my children receive at the centre and would not hesitate to recommend to other parents.
