My mum spent her last years in the aged care facility. I live an hour away and visited at least every fortnight. The staff were incredible, professional and caring right to the end and even beyond. I proudly donate to blue care to thank them and it helps give the residents a little dignity.

Everything was fine until my grandfather passed.after that they said they would store his lazyboy chair until we were able to pick it up(cost $2000)when my cousin went to pick it up it had vanished and we were told someone picked it up already (not true) and they didnt know where it was .they said they would follow it up but they didnt.obviously stolen buy a staff member .dont trust themand do not pay any attention to the little speel below saying how much they care because my grandmother rang blue care australia and they said they will sort it out but we have never heard back from them .they have theives working there and they couldnt care less

Impossible to contact - try ringing their phone number and nobody will even answer. Try filling in a 'contact' form on their web site - no response. I give up and I will look elsewhere for retirement living.

This is not the place you want to buy in to. Whatever they are currently telling you in the marketing materials is likely divorced from reality. After an accreditation scare last year we were hoping the nursing home care might improve. But in fact, the new management is better at getting through accreditation. Apparently our inmate is difficult and costing them a fortune because of his needs. So the take-home message is don't go to a nursing home if you need nursing care. I suspect that is why they call them aged care now rather than nursing homes.

Not much signage to find the entry or coffee shop. If you are gluten free I'd give it a miss as there was nothing suitable to eat
