Keppel Lookout Trail Start

I really enjoyed walking this trail! I was lucky to go on a lovely sunny day, although it was 35 degrees. Do note that the trail does has a lot of natural shade: I went on a hot day and I didn't find it unbearable.The track itself is well kept and very easy to follow along. Each 'milestone' (e.g. the Keppel trail lookout) has a map that clearly indicates where you are, where you're heading and how far you've walked which I found super handy as I did this walk solo and without any phone reception.The signs say it's a 3-4 hour walk: it took me just over 2 hours at a leisurely pace with plenty of stops for snacks and photos.I will say do be sure to bring food and tonnes of water: you'll need it. As well as a hat, sunglasses and sunscreen. Do be mindful of snakes too: it's Australia afterall!

Awesome track, great views, refreshing waterfall and varying steepness throughout the hike.

Wonderful trail, I did it the reverse route starting Marysville side so had some steep climbs to start, but after the Lookout it was downhill the whole way. Stunning views and lovely flora and fauna. I didn't see a single person the entire trail and it was blissful

This is a great walk, taking a long half day, to go from town to Falls then top of of falls, trail to lookout and then back to town. Doing it in reverse direction requires more careful navigation to get to Kepple's lookout.

Not the easiest nor definitely the hardest hike I've been on... Somewhere right in the middle. Parking lot requires coin payment. Toilet available in carpark. Lovely sights. Footpaths vary from dirt, gravel and rocks.

The way up the mountain was not well paved thus quite bumpy, however the view is great, worth to visit in conjunction with the waterfall nearby.

Wonderful track. Not a very long one. Beware of SNAKES around and on the track.Bit of a short steep clime for the first 2km's but the rest is pretty easy.

It was a good hike of 11km. Very easy to find your way as the trail is clearly marked and even detours provided in places where trees may have fallen. It’s a walk through beautiful Yarra ranges with amazing views

I grew up in area.. All through these tracks there is great views.. Lots wild life.. My pics I took in evening as fog was on its way in.. Can be creepy and beautiful.. Always respect area.. Don't leave tracks. know where you are.. At all times. To easy to get lost

Big disappointment, falls are over crowded with rude people, the trail itself was disappointing, views were average at best, definitely won't be back, plenty of other great places with much more rewarding views at the end of the journey, if you're wondering if you should try this trail, I'd highly recommend just about any other hike in Victoria, don't waste your time with this disappointing trail
