Omg ! The rose pancakes are so yummy ! It’s beautiful to look at but the rose flavour mixes in the pancake batter was just awesome. I had an amazing experience there , though the cafe is quite small but don’t let the size fool you. It’s perfect for an afternoon break. Fully recommended if you ever stop by at Annandale. I will definitely go there again and try all the other yummy stuff on the menu

This place was on my list of places to go. Small place on a quiet street by the busy Parramatta road. Worth checking out if you're nearby. Great coffee and the food is tasty and decorative. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. You can sit inside or there's two tables outside.

The Instagram is beautiful but is misleading in the size of this boutique cafe. The dishes could use development in terms of flavour but presentation is 10/10. Big things are sure to come, try the high tea !!

Whether I check Google map review & Instagram, the photos of the restaurant are very appealing. The shop decor and food photos are, it has to be said, very attractive to the eyes of the customers.However, when I actually visited the shop, I found it to be really small. There were very few tables for customers to sit at, and the entire table arrangement was completely different from what I had seen online. It was the only shop that I felt was deceived by the photos.Personally, I felt the food tasted average and there were a lot of flies in the shop while I was eating.

I’ll start by saying that I only went for high tea and I would not recommend it. While the presentation was lovely, the desserts were not what we expected. I’ll try to keep this as factual as possible; I completely understand that it’s a small business and I don’t mean to take away from that. The servers were friendly and really helpful on all counts.The high tea however was disappointing. The cupcakes were dry (a hair was found in one), the the fruits in the cheesecake were frozen solid, the bread on the salmon sliders was very tough and chewy, and the macaroons were good, but hollow instead of chewy. There were no stand outs for me, but I did like the scones and mochi. Overall, the downsides made it difficult to enjoy.I hope that this isn’t taken as a slam, just a note that presentation is important, but not everything.

Nice little spot just outside of the city. The rose pancake is awesome, taste very much like asian kueh-kueh. Also had Claire's Toast which was delicious as well and the Taro Latte, which was a little too sweet.

A nice but little cafe at the corner. They don’t have a lot of space,but really make it into a cozy place.The plating was impressive,my wholemeal rose pancake was warm and delicate.The touch of rose was slight but adorable.The burger was also nice ,my friend loved it. We definitely had a lovely brunch here.

This is a lovely small cafe which offers quite a lot of dishes to suit everyone's needs. The service was sensational, the staff really made you feel welcome. The standard of presentation for the dishes was second to none, this is very evident on Instagram. What I will say is that when there is often a lot of hype around 'instagram worthy' dishes, they sometimes don't provide much else except aesthetics. In the case of Cafe Claire they totally exceeded my expectations; the dishes tasted amazing whilst looking stunning. The rose pancakes were a stand out as they balanced the flavours of rose so well which is hard to do with such strong flavours. I look forward to going back and trying their speciality high tea too. Highly recommended.
