Great off road camping. Lively hot showers. Plenty of room.

Hot showers, clean and for us quiet night, spacious and free, rate it highly especially after some other paid places we have been to. Council workers where there doing a great job. Well done.

Free, including toilets and hot showers. Not a difficult walk into town (although unfortunately some of the way there is no footpath). Spacious sites and tidy area. There were a couple of people that I assume are locals pop in for showers which is a bit unusual for a campsite.

The Collarenebri Primitive Campground is a great 2 night free camp located at the quiet town of Collarenebri. It has the strongest most amazing free showers, clean, well maintained flushing toilets and stocked with toilet paper. The ground is in a mixture of soil and gravel, easy for lighter or 4x4 however heavier vehicles should stay on harder ground when raining. There are designated camping spots for travellers and a semi large area that you can drive in and out from. There are bins located throughout the camp. Thank you Collarenebri for the awesome camp and the most heavenly showers you offer us weary travellers. We truly appreciate your hospitality and kindness. Generators allowed.

The five stars are for the free hot showers provided for travelers by the council. The toilets are clean with a fresh coat of paint. It has a dump point for RV as well as potable water. There are plenty of shady spots under the trees or sunny ones to charge the batteries by solar panels. There is not my traffic during the day or the night. Two nights stay max.

Awsome free camping spot. Marked camping bays and has hot showers and toilets.Don't forget the air o guard though. Mozzies are savage at night.

Called a primitive camp area but good amenities block, 4 toilets and showers for males, good free shower hot water, dump point, some shade in several caravan sites, dump point, drinking water tap. No shelter shed or table. Easy walk to town over bridge and fishing in river. All free so support local shops in this small town.

Edit: MICE! I saw mouse in the toilet block and thought of the poor folks of Dubbo. Later that night our new Mercedes sprinter campervan was invaded. Scratching sounds all night long. I'm really worried they might have got the wiring or plumbing. At least one was definitely inside the van as I found droppings under the bed. If you like hares, I saw about 20 near the toilet block in the early hours of the night. However, lovely little spot near the river. Sign says great fishing. Thanks to to council for providing this.
