Osteria Coogee is a great place to visit and I can’t wait to go back.The decor and ambience is fresh and welcoming.The food was delicious, a good amount of good on the set menu, the pork is exceptional.Last but not least, the staff were professional, friendly and attentive.

Osteria is a wonderful place to enjoy an evening meal in the Eastern suburbs. The staff are friendly and attentive. We particularly enjoyed the grilled octopus, duck ragu and our campari orange / whiskey apple. Overall this is one of the finest establishments we have visited so far in Sydney.

An amazing surprise - stumbled upon Osteria on Good Friday, got a table and had a wonderful meal. Food is exceptional, staff are super friendly and attentive, cocktails go down a treat. Well worth a visit !

Incredible meal, we had to order the oysters twice, they were so good. The owner Regan came out to say hello which was a lovely touch, the Osteria margarita was one of the best out. Highly highly recommend.

Had one of the best experiences here, not just in terms of food but service as well. The person helping us was incredibly helpful and warm, he gave great recommendations and turned out to be the head chef too :)Normally restaurants excel in some areas more than others, but here everything was good. The mocktails were great, entrees, mains, oysters, everything was great. It's on the expensive side but I'd definitely come back and would consider coming here for a special occasion too.Next time I'll try the set menu!

The food is surprisingly delicately cooked to maximise taste and texture.The octopus entree was slow cooked to achieve the tenderest texture and then chargrilled for aroma, topped with a tomato based paste that made us ordering another one.The pork knuckle is also cooked to perfection that meant most of its meat was tender and melts in your mouth, while the skin stays crunchy. The mustard seed sauce is out of this world tasty and don’t remember ever having a better pork knuckle anywhere else.

The owner of this venue worked with Gordan Ramsay for 10 years, if that isn’t a green flag for delicious ingredients and recipes then I don’t know what is. If you’re lucky enough to have Stefano in the kitchen, you’re in for such a treat. He is someone we described as being one of the rare people who have ‘really found their passion’ with his culinary skill, attention to detail in the dish and family recipes with an original twist. This venue has been on my list for a while, but it's been full on the times I've tried to visit - after visiting last night, I know why.We sat outside and thoroughly enjoyed our evening.The staff are friendly and attentive, the fit out is light and bright every dish we had was delicious.I highly recommend this place for thier lovely atmosphere and brilliant food.
