went to yamba subway around 6:30 friday night the 18 th and the girl working was not welcoming AT ALL made the whole atmosphere feel extremely uncomfortable. i felt judged literally the whole time. maybe train your workers to be more friendly and or smile for once????

Went to yamba subway on Tuesday 1/2/22 approx 3.15 pm. I was served by a pleasant young dark haired girl. She made my 2 subs without any hesitation. They were done very evenly, salad was spread nicely and she obliged my request to wrap separate halves with a smile. Although my experience with this girl was lovely, I write this review to acknowledge the other young fellow with sandy curly hair, and an earring I think, who was also making subs for a phone order, as I was waiting for my subs I watched him making 3 different subs. His meticulous way in which he placed everything in those subs was amazing. He constantly checked the docket to ensure that the customer was getting the right salads. He spread generous amount everything so evenly and with care I was absolutely gobsmacked. Not even a stray piece of carrot or onion over the side. The tomato was spread so evenly, the sauce given a lovely drizzle. When it came time to close that sub I wondered how he’d do it without losing salad products. But he had this amazing technique that didn’t even make that fully loaded sub look squished. I’ve been to a lot of subways before and had subs made that are just slapped together, squashed down, cut and wrapped…..Very below par! However, I must say that those subs this boy made looked ARTISTIC!!!!!!! Kudos to those two young employees. They certainly are a credit to your store. I asked to speak to the manager on duty and told him exactly what I thought of his 2 workers that day. It’s a small gesture of gratitude for which I hope these two get the recognition they deserve.

Girl named tahlea or something gave me dirty looks and judged me the whole time I was in there then didn’t toast my sandwich properly and tried to over charge me all cause me and one of her friends don’t get along

I arrived at subway at 5:40PM and was annoyed to find that despite all media saying it shuts at 8:30PM, it was already shut. This has been the case on multiple occasions. Do not take your chances on this business, even if they are opened, don’t support an unreliable (and often unfriendly) team.

I checked website to check on time the Subway Yamba was closing. It said 8:30pm. I got there 7:50pm.All chairs were on table, sandwich board in & girl standing behind counter. I opened door and asked what time they shut. Was told 8pm!Was annoyed (& hungry) and politely, yet firmly told the girl to tell the owners to change the time on their site!There is Macca's, Noodle place, Pizza Hut just in same area. I find they are not quality and substantial quick, takeaway meals. Subway has lost me as a customerDue to false advertising. I'm very annoyed with them. This is bad customer relations.

Service was terrible, the young girl that had glasses and brown plaits that served me was rude and short. Each process was difficult to her and after telling her the salads I wanted, she forgot one at the end so when I asked to put it on, she huffed at me and put it on. Her tone was not friendly at all and when I got to the register, I was paying card, as it was loading on the eftpos machine, she walked away and didn’t bother to come back to the register at all. No ‘goodbye’, ‘have a great day’ or even ‘would you like a receipt’. Definitely need to work on training your staff to become more customer friendly.
