Avoid that venue like the plague. The owner (old grumpy man behind the counter) is racist and clearly have psychological and anger issues.

Great pool hall, one of the best in Melbourne; been coming here for years. Straight cues and immaculate tables ranging from pub size to 3/4 to snooker tables. Management is fantastic too at facilitating and accommodating for everyone, if you're polite and it's quiet they may even let you play your own music!!Anyone who says the owner is racist is merely trying to gain 5 seconds of fame or were obviously rude or obnoxious in some fashion. He is and has always been an absolute gentleman to everyone I have seen enter the building regardless of colour or creed.Even I have been denied entry before and told it was a members night but it was because of my level of intoxication - politely accepting the establishments right to deny entry I returned at a later date and was warmly welcomed back.Owners have a right to deny entry and a will to maintain the class and atmosphere of this venue.

Should rename his venue to KKK Billiards Home.Don’t even get how it’s still running in 2023. Super discriminatory against customers and clearly has double standards. Happy to not spend money on a place like this. Stay away if you respect yourself.

This a a good pool/snooker call. Polite Friendly staff, the venue have a selection of sandwiches and cakes, soft drinks, beer, wine, spirits, good music.I have been going there for fewYears. The owner is far from racist. The crowd that come here is mixed. Iv seen all types. There is member ships. It’s also a team league venue if the owner is saying there busy till Sunday you don’t need to be rude or find it offensive, as he is running a business. I have come here and missed out on tables too. However they normally do try to accommodate everyone!!!

The owner is easily racist. Unbelievable how businesses like this are allowed to operate at this era. The teenagers before us were let in and the guy was super awkward when we walked in, saying aw the owners are very strict about this and it’s members only. It’s an elderly skinny fella with white hair. So we asked when can we come back, and he said there are functions running every night so we can’t come in until Sunday night! If it’s members only, how come no posted signage? Why is there an entry fee and hourly fee if members only?High time authorities did something about this place. There is a herald sun article about this place not letting people speak other languages. Maybe the owner wants to keep this place as, “the only premises where it’s whites only.”

The most racist place I've even been too. They make an excuse for members only but there's no sign for membership. They don't even tell you how to become a member. Not recommended at all.

I have been here many many times. It is a traditional snooker / pool hall. I find its great for serious players and fans of the game. In fact the first time I ever was brought into this place, I was brought in by my snooker coach (who has departed) The theme is a classical snooker/pool hall kinda like in the film the color of money.I know recently it has come under fire from bad publicity, but I truly believe the owner/manager is not racist. (I am particularly easy to offend and super sensitive on this issue.) I believe he is simply attempting to defend the culture of the snooker room. The venue is a classical snooker room which values quiet serious enjoyment. In many cases have i witnessed customers being asked to leave, but in every case it was they were rowdy, loud, drunk or not respectful to the venue and other patrons. The manager is possibly overly protective of the culture, but in no way could he be considered racist or bigoted. I have seem him welcome people of all races and creeds as long as they were respectful of the venue. In fact i put that these people whomever they were probably came in loud and obnoxious and didn't realise they were disturbing all the rest of patrons. Its clear from the managers accent that he too is a migrant and so to suggest he is a racist is simply ridiculous. He does often not explain why he is expelling the patrons properly mainly because most of the ones that he ejects are drunk and not open to logic. There are other pool venues that are more designed for the loud and drunken use for the more casual players. I would recommend Pockets in the norther suburbs as they provide a great service if u want a louder more party culture. As for me I prefer the quieter more classic snooker culture and atmosphere of Masters is preferable and I intend on supporting him since it is a fantastic venue for the serious player.Keep up the good work!

To owner,Why don’t you address the many reviews stating their experience of racism at your venue? Why are you keeping quiet?

One of the better pool halls Melbourne has to offer. Good atmosphere, quality tables, and decent pricing.
