Staff Name- Emily (manager) as per staffSunday :- 16/03/2023Time : 8:30pmWe (family)went to juicy rum for dinner tonight. We were having really good time with peaceful environment. At the end of our dinner a lady name Emily came to clean the table. We were on our own conversation she came to clean the table and ask us to pick up the chicken bone and put on the plates. As being working in the hospitality field I found it really disrespectful towards customer I never ever ask any of my customer to clean the table and when we didn’t do what she ask for she aggressively clean the table and spill the glass of water on one of us. When we went to speak to the manager we found she is the manager. She was continuously aggressive and not feeling sorry for any of her activity. Even we asked her full name, she refuse to give her last name. As a result of her rude and disrespectful behaviour we felt racist ruined our valuable family time. My 10 year old daughter felt really bad and doesn’t want to go back again. She just ruin our night. We choose juicy rum for good food and quality time but sadly this will be our last.

The first mojito was quarter of a glass packed with ice, when we asked for it to be remade; the attached photo is the result without a pinch of alcohol. Very disappointing.

Always hit or miss but mostly misses. Ended paying way too much for 4 small half potato skins, poorly dressed, and cold. I've had food that was off, meat that tasted past its expiry. The salads are either really great or disgusting. Steak sandwhich was a small piece of meat that you couldn't get your teeth through on a bun that was twice the size of the meat. Chips are always good. The bar is always nice and drinks are good. Staff in general very nice. The restaurant is always dirty or dingy looking. Holes in the ceiling and messed up furniture. Live music is always a treat. I'd only go there for drinks but definitely not the food.

We ate here 3 times for dinner during our stay in Crowne Plaza.Overall, our experience was ok. Staff taking the orders at the till were friendly, but there is no table service. You are given a buzzer to alert you when your meal is ready. The overall atmosphere is very noisy. The place needs to decide whether it's a sports bar or a restaurant/bistro. There is music playing through the speakers, live music outside on the stage area, and large screens showing sports which are very bright and not pleasant to have in your face whilst trying to enjoy a meal. For our first dinner, we had the fish and chips with salad. The serving size was good, and the fish was nice. Our second dinner was rack of pork ribs and chips and steak and chips. My meal of pork ribs was only lukewarm. Our third dinner was on the smoker night. We ordered the brisket and pulled pork with chips and onion rings as well as the pork belly, pulled chicken with Mac n cheese and coleslaw. While the meats were all well cooked, the coleslaw was tasteless and watery, and the mac n cheese was a lump of gluggy pasta, practically inedible. On none of the nights was the heat lamps on the kitchen pass on, which would explain the lukewarm meals. The meals here are average at best, and the person working the pass showing which are your dishes to collect is not friendly.

First time at The Juicy Rump. I ordered 2 serves of their Buffalo Wings, and I was not disappointed. Amazing!Everything is well priced. The staff are so friendly. They had a fundraising event on for a local baseball team. A big turnout to support the local community.

Slowest kitchen in Australia. Tuesday night, Its not busy, but It still took over one hour to plate up some nachos. Cant enjoy my meal at 9.45 pm. it's a plot to get you to lose money at casino while waiting for food.

My partner was starving after trying to order room service with the Tali restaurant and not being able to get anything gluten free for his coeliac requestWe tried going to the Juicy Rump insteadThe bar staff was so pleasant and really tried to helpIt’s disappointing the the restaurant staff could not follow instructions or understand the request givenNo sauces available gluten free, chips not gluten free as cooked in same deep fryer that has had batter in it, so my partner had to settle on a $35 steakWe asked first if he couldn’t have ships could they substitute for steamed veggies or a saladThe restaurant wouldn’tInstead the gluten free steak got served on a bed of chips after we requested to have it either not given or at least put separatelyWe put the chips on my plate and partner had to try eat a little bit of the steak (which wasn’t very large for the price given) sorry the pic was after he already ate a bit as was starvingSalad didn’t taste very fresh and had a salad dressing on it which also was not gluten freeWe will definitely not be eating here ever again and would let everyone know they shouldn’t either, especially if they have dietary restrictionsThe restaurant have absolutely no clue why this is important to customers orderingIt would be 1 star but the bar staff were so lovely and tried they best when they wrote in the meal request

If you want a nice meal DON’T eat here.If I could give missus 5 rating, that’s what it would be.Ordered a full rack of beef ribs and received 2 what looked like lumps of charcoal. (2 Ribs NOT a Rack) Ordered garlic bread and got cheesy garlic bread. ordered 1 dozen oysters Kilpatrick. Paid $60 so was hoping to get nice large oysters. We struggled to find the oyster amounts the bacon and sauce. Our total bill for our meal was $160 + $24 service fee???. Couldn’t work out were the service fee come into the picture. There is no table service????? Total being $184 for a meal that was extremely disappointing. We struggled to eat the food but we had just travelled 5 hours from out cattle station and we were very hungry. We will NEVER eat here again.

I'm very disappointed. Very tired area. Ordered our meals, and they came within about 2 or 3 minutes. My wife had 1 Zuchini piece on her plate, and I had 8. The meat was warm. So, to me, it just seemed everything was precooked and came out of a Bain Maree. Very disappointing.
