DJ Demolition & Asbestos Removal

Unfortunately I would not recommend this company again! To give credit where it is due their initial contact and communication (pre-job starting) was good and for small, straight forward jobs they seem ok. Once the job started we felt their communication was lacking.They said they gave us a good price but we don't feel that way, their pricing lacked transparency (was not broken down). We removed as much of the waste as we could ourselves (green and metal, some timber) but this was not reflected in the final price. They claim tipping fees went up but you can see when tip fees go up on the tip site and they hadn't gone up.For the demolition of our house we had asked to keep as much of the timber as they were willing to leave to which we had a variety of excuses and then when we visited the site they admitted to taking/giving away some of the timber that we had asked for (various stories told to us about this which left us feeling we had been lied to). They were willing to 'clean up the timber' for their own benefit on our time but if seemed too hard to do for us the paying client until we really pushed hard.Also they claimed that they had installed a tap to 'tap off' our water (stated in contract) but then when this wasn't done they said it must have been stolen which is very hard to believe as the water on our property is in a very hidden place. They didn't rectify this, we were left to do. Excuses for everything.This combined with some poor worksite safety (timber going over the neighbours fence), small damaged to fence but if their car/van had been on drive it would have been worse; has left us feeling disappointed. We would say we had a pretty negative experience with this company.

Martin, Des and the rest of the DJ's team are exeptional.They took on a mammoth job for us that can only be described as a nightmare.From the very first phone call and throughout the esuing process everything was handled professionally and efficiently.All the team are so respectful and friendly.I can highly recommend DJ's 110%.

Martin and Des from DJ Demolition did an amazing job knocking down our fibro shack loaded with asbestos. They were the only demo company to reply straight away and present us with a quote that was very reasonable.Due to covid many of their workers were unable to help so the 2 of them were able remove the asbestos, knock down the house and clear the land within 3 weeks.As this was our first time to demo we were unsure of the process, but Martin and Des will guide you through the process and answer any questions you have.We recommend DJ Demolition 100%!

Excellent job demolishing and removing our old asbestos workshop, Professional, friendly and efficient. We had never had demolition work done; Des & Martin explained the process very well. The site was left spotless afterwards. What also impressed us was that they recycled as much of the workshop as was possible, rather than just chucking everything into landfill. We would highly recommend them.

They removed our old garage. They were professional and did the job according to regulations. Would recommend and trust them to remove asbestos.
