I stopped by on a Thursday night with no booking, hoping to get a seat at the bar. The food and drinks did not disappoint. I had the local pork cutlet and the salad were great, with amazing flavours. Really great service too

Food was very nicely presented, all looked amazing! Taste-wise though bit of a miss, nothing outstanding except the anchovy crostini which was unique! The king prawn ravioli was also very chewy which was weird, otherwise it would've been great. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good portion sizes.

Absolutely incredible service! We made a last minute reservation and the lady asked about about dietary requirements. When we arrived the chef made a special vegan menu for us on the spot. The food tastes amazing and the service was unparalleled!AMAZING!

I went with my partner for lunch. We’re both vegan and loved their plant based menu. There was a diverse and complete range of seasonal produce. The flavours were unique and wonderful. Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!

I recently had dinner at Geronimo Apertivo Bar & Restaurant and ordered oysters (natural, pepperberry mignonette & Parish Vineyard Riesling granita), the half shell scallop and the prawn, tomato, chilli, garlic, feta baguette to eat. To drink I opted for the Prince cocktail.The oysters were fresh and flavoursome, I enjoyed them all. I could taste a hint of pepper in the pepperberry and there was a slight sweetness to the granita that worked with the saltiness of the oyster. The half shell scallop was equally delicious, the bourride sauce was nice and creamy and I loved the crisp kale.The standout for me were the prawns. The broth was beautiful and comforting with a lovely tomato flavour that was soaked up by the crunchy baguette. I would happily order this again. The prince cocktail was so pretty and I loved that you can smell and taste the lavender. The complimentary asparagus popcorn was a nice touch.I was really impressed with both the menu and the service at Geronimo. Everything I ordered was delicious and the staff were helpful in assisting with menu selection. I rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ out of 5.

Best Restaurant iv been to in a long time, the atmosphere, staff, cocktails and the food were all 10/10Amazing dinning experience and would highly recommend anyone in Launceston to go there.

I don’t usually give average reviews, it’s alright hard enough to do business nowadays, so if it’s not 5 stars I usually don’t leave 3 or 4 star reviews but…Seriously not impressed with this restaurant’s attitude and food.The bar looks good, seating is alright, there’s good variety of drinks, service is okay, but the food is just blatantly disappointing.Food is served pretty bland with just one or 2 items of things on a plate, with pretty premium price for some simple items.Steak is literally just a piece of meat on a plate.Ordered medium, and the steak came out pretty much well done. Interestingly enough, the 1 piece of steak placed at the front of the row is the only one that’s cooked to medium, the rest of the pieces are all well cooked, so it feels like the chef knows that it’s overcooked, but tries to hide them all to the back row, and just put 1 good piece at the front with the hope that once the customer finds out, they won’t be bothered to ask anything. The meat is pretty hard to chew, and I don’t see anything premium in that. And the steak ALONE is $66, I really cannot justify that attitude and that price tag.Also ordered a Coke Zero, which was served in an average glass (which was half ice) and it’s okay, but what is not great is we obviously know that it’s probably only less than half a can of coke in that glass. Where is the rest of the can? One of the waitress was happily holding in and drinking it next to the bar right after serving us. Let me guess, we only paid for half of the can, didn’t we?Was recommended this restaurant by a good colleague but certainly would not recommend it to anyone else I know, and will definitely NOT come back for that quality of food and for that price tag.

A nice little casual fine dining option in Launceston. Most of the dishes were pretty tasty with a really good amount of vegetarian options amongst the classic Tassie fare. Some dishes were a little over seasoned/flavoured, given it was evident how high quality the produce was so it would be nice to see that shine. And I think they need to have a think about the pricing of the flat bread - delicious but quite overpriced at $16 for two small-medium rounds. All in all a nice experience however!
