It’s quite upset that it’s too cloudy this morning so can not see the first light of the day at the horizon next to the red rocks ; however, rainning makes waterfalls flowing from tge top of monolith downpour to the ground. There is a path (5km) long winding throuh the plain with backdrop of Ayers rock. Facilities include restroom, parking lots, picnic area, kai ( drinking water station. Platform for viewing the sunrise is very panoramic view of the rock and surrounds.

Great spot for sunrise but it was very crowded at the platform. It's great view from lower viewing spot as well.

Sunrise is just gorgeous. The sounds and colours are just beautiful at this time of the morning. Walking tracks makes it easy to get to the lookouts. Toilets are also available.

If you are going with a tour, book in advance as they fill fast! The morning was absolutely gorgeous and something that you need to see.

Do get in early if you want interrupted pictures. If sunrises mean a lot to you, definitely go for it. I personally found it so crowded and chaotic. It was pretty but I feel like it’s overrated.

Beautiful spot to watch the sunrise/sunset over Uluru.Wonderful colours illuminate the area differently for each minute that passes.The apparent color of Uluṟu quickly changes from a deep red to a brighter orange further into the morning, thus, there is a photo opportunity every second, so don’t miss out.Additionally, the further into the morning you stay, the more flies will pester you. Not just a couple either!It gets busy very fast, so ensure you book with a touring company to ensure you have a great experience.
