I am writing about my recent experience with the extremely overpriced grout that I purchased from Imported Ceramics, after purchasing tiles from them, out of trust and goodwill I returned to purchase grout.I was charged $65 for the Mapei Ultra Colour grout 5kg Bag which is about $34 more or less everywhere else, other retailers and online. When I returned to store to return the product because as I do not feel I was fairly charged, the staff refused to even listen to what we had to say or even offer a price match. There is no exact wording for returning or receiving refund of grout in their policy.I can imagine how many times a day people without knowing purchase this from them. Its ridiculous and unacceptable that business can just put whatever price they wish on products!

Had been looking for a decent range of feature tiles for a long time, driving around the whole city, only found limited choice of colours and style and majority to be ordered and delivered weeks later. I finally found these guys at imported ceramics and was amazed with their range. Fell in love with five different tiles for our splashback and all were in stock ready for collection. Helpful staff and awesome experience overall. Thank you!

We stepped in here by chance looking for some splashback tiles. We got a really good rep who showed us some choices and we selected one which we really liked. He showed us 2 or 3 which would suit n it was spot on. Nice and spacious shop with plenty of selection

Brilliant experience in Osborne Park, went in with no expectations as we were passing by and needed to select our wet area tiles prior to prestart on our upcoming build. Was greeted by Laura , she took control, pulled out our plans and made the whole experience extremely easy . We could not be happier with how Laura listened to what we wanted and within seconds had made some selections which were absolutely spot on!!! We are over the moon with the service and would like to thank her for the experience.

The display room is stunning with endless options. Customer service is second to none, Andrea was so patient with us and even gave us many recommendations and tips. 10/10

Paid for my tiles in full 14months ago. When called up for delivery they didn't have my tiles in stock. Lied and tried to say it was a warehouse error putting the wrong tiles aside. Caught them out on their lie as they sold my tiles and replacement delivery had been delayed. Now delayed me moving into my house by 2 months whilst waiting for another delivery of tiles to come from Spain. Missed the spot with my original tiler. Manager said their tilers would match my quote, which was another lie as they wouldn't match my tilers quote. Had to find myself a different tiler. All they gave in compensation was $120 worth of grout. Didn't supply enough grout to finish the job. Rudely had a dig at my tiler for using too much grout, quoted me almost twice the price for another bag grout - purchased it elsewhere as didn't want to give these guys another cent.

On Saturday 14th March I experienced one of the most traumatic “retail” encounters in my life. I had extra tiles I needed to buy and had a credit note on file.Little did I know, that because I didn’t bring the said note with me (thinking it would be on their system), it prompted the male Store Manager to interrogate me, demanding to know why I had the credit note, implying the credit note didn’t exist, refused to do any (in his words) “business with me” until I produced it. And “even if I had produced it he wouldn’t guarantee they would honour it”.As it was a Saturday I tried to explain I had a credit note and would be prepared to purchase tiles and negotiate a credit once I was able to bring in the note “on the Monday”.As it turned out that credit note expired in January. But the issue wasn’t about the money. The store manager barely let me complete my sentences, was condescending and I have never in my 50yrs ever come across such patronising service, arrogance, belittling, rudeness and disrespect in my life.As my daughter and I quietly left the store he noticed and yelled from across the opposite end something about looking forward to seeing my paperwork - a very provocative and completely unnecessary act. I advised him that I would refer the incident to the owner (Ceramic Distributors Pty Lts, Imported Ceramics) and that they would be hearing from me – which I did. After producing my credit note and discussions with the Director of Ceramic Distributors who although caustically apologised for my “experience” and offered to negotiate something should I still wish to buy something. I politely declined.I advised him, that after my encounter with the Osborne Park store manager I walked across the road to Trend Ceramics where the service was second to none and I happily made my purchase. This isn’t about the money, nor the credit – it’s about the lack of courtesy, rudeness and disrespect to customers.I am a 5ft woman – and I can guarantee I wouldn’t have received such a judgemental and mocking response had I been a man. I am sole parent renovating my home – they can keep my money, and I would never want anything to do with them.I would never ever ever recommend going to Magic Tiles in Osborne Park whilst that same store manager is in charge – and if he ever moves or finds a job elsewhere I would walk straight out again.

Shocking place to do business. I complained that the tiles supplied to me where not square most were approx 3-4 mm out. They said this is consistent with tiles and its the rustic look that they are trying to achieve. I understand they are not rectified but every tile being out so much is just ridiculuous. I returned the faulty tiles and they had the cheek to charge me a restocking fee. Avoid at all costs, there are plenty of other tile shops around osborne park. I was also about to order 200sqm of tiles costing over $10,000. Suffice to say that order will not be going ahead

If I could give this company zero stars I would. Back in January we put a deposit down to secure floor tiles. A few months later I received a call from a representative from Myaree and asked if they could sell the tiles we had secured to another customer. We agreed as it seemed the right thing to do . We did not need them until August and we had been assured the next shipment of tiles would be here in July.Come July I was told 13th August. That turned into the 4th September. We are now at the point our build cannot progress without the tiles. I then ask for a refund of our deposit so we can proceed with another option offered to us by our builder. Mark Ryan from Osbourne Park said they would offer no refund and that we simply had to wait. He didn't care about our circumstances at all. Even after we let them sell the tiles we had secured with our deposit. After lodging a compliant with consumer protection and then following up to see if the tiles had arrived (which they had not) we were eventually given our money back. This company does not care about it's customers at all and is clearly happy to lie and waste your time. I would seriously recommend staying well clear of Imported Ceramics. Take your business elsewhere.

I had a lovely experience here. I had an odd request for tiles and the assistant had really helpful ideas and was very interested in my project. I came away with lovely tiles and can't wait to put them in place. Thank you
