Lovely place. Could easily spend the whole day here. There is fun times for all. Baby swimming pool and adult pool. There is also a heated pool if needed. Disability access in pool too. Also cafe here and lovely friendly staff. Also a gym on site. Very close to water park and seaside.

Great place to swim but the lifeguards need educating when it comes to autistic children. Blonde one screamed at my friends child as if he understood. Need to have a bit of compassion and understanding.

Tobruk Memorial Baths
I always enjoy coming here for a swim. The pools are clean and a good temperature. The small kids wading pool is fully covered. My kids do swimming lessons here and have great teachers. The cafe does a good coffee and has a good range of food. The strand side of the cafe is pet friendly and even has dog treats. The parking by the front door is for parents with prams and there is a family change room too.There aren't any slides or toys, if that is what you are looking for I recommend the bucket a short walk away, or the Kirwan pool.

Went here on a Saturday morning expecting it to be super busy, instead it was lovely quiet and laid back. Good lap pool and separate kids area with friendly staff. Definitely my new go to on a hot sunny day.

Lovely, historic, open air 50 meter pool with 2 small additional pools for teaching. Extremely helpful staff, heated main pool and right on The Strand.

Our preferred pool for getting a bit of exercise. The water quality is well maintained. The men's change room and showers are set out well, but not always cleaned to the same standard as the rest of the facility. The staff are friendly, and having the adjoining cafe is handy for light refreshments.

Such a great pool. Since the refurb over the first COVID shutdown it's now even better. Perfect temp, slightly salt but buoyancy on a par with fresh, perfect for lap swimming. Now my fav pool in Townsville, maybe anywhere. Nice staff, really clean facility, a block away (lucky me). More sunshades over the lanes could be good.
