Staffs are friendly and polite but unfortunately I'm having a disappointing experience with my bicycle that I have left there for repair. I was told that the bike was supposed to get fixed in 2 days but it has been 9 days. Besides, I called the shop and they told me that the crank they were waiting this whole time was finally delivered by the supplier and my bike would be ready next day.I went there and I actually found out that they still haven't got it yet and the bike wasn't ready - which means they lied on the phone to me. I didn't want to leave a bad review but they made me with no choice after this inconvenience - I will be happy to change it if 99 bikes repair the bad customer service they have been providing to me.

Went in to look at bike options as I wanted to purchase a new bike. I was left to browse for a few minutes before an employee offered assistance and recommended me a few options which suited my needs. I didn't know much about the differences between price points on the models but this was explained to me and the benefits of each which was very helpful in my decision making process. They allow lay-by here, which is what I took to secure the bike as it was on sale and the last in my size left in this store. 20% is the deposit amount on bikes, 50% on parts. They do also accept ZipMoney payment and offered me 12 months on no interest payments. They also offer fitting of the bike prior to leaving the store, and will fit the pedals. Also included is a tune up within 6 weeks to ensure the brakes and gear cables are correct as they may slip when new. I was also then shown the difference in riding shoes and the clip pedals and differences between them. Overall exceptional service. I can highly recommend this store.

Really helpful staff when asked various things about what suspension I should have on my bike for downhill and xc sort of mix, bits and pieces for lights and accessories. Hugely impressed, and very happy with their servicing as well, as they sorted out my chain and brakes super quickly.

Attended a beginner's maintenance class and was very impressed with how Ryan conducted himself and how much knowledge he had about everything to do with bikes. I can imagine that customers are equally impressed with the knowledge and customer service from Ryan and his team. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Store had a good range of bikes in store and pricing was competitive. I have been very happy with the bike I purchased. Quoted cost for getting extras fitted was a bit steep - so would recommend doing this yourself. Overall a great experience.

I had my bike serviced from this store 2017 and the unversity casual so called bike Mechanic.Didnt do a great job at restoreing my brakes on how they open up when removing the tyres. They never were the same again. I had questioned them about it and i was told something else. I had to go somewhere else to fix the problem and last time their for serviceing the bike at this store.Some of the staff are untrained and they will rip you off when they see someone who has no idea about bikes.I havent been back ever since.

Great customer service from the moment i walked in. Sav was fantastic in helping me to choose a bike. He fitted me and even let me test a few bikes out before i chose one. Very patient with all the questions i asked. Thanks guys - keep it up!

I recently took my bicycle to 99 Bikes in Ascot Vale for a service. As it was my first time at the store, they recommended the Standard +Plus Service (which they referred to as the big service") being $189. I decided to go ahead with their recommendation. After returning to pick up my bicycle

Outstanding customer service. The people there are always willing to help and give advice when buying bikes or accessories. All of the staff there ride bikes themselves and have expert knowledge. Could not recommend any other bike shop.

Best customer service possible. I've been to a couple of 99 Bikes stores in Melbourne and they are all just amazing! No judgement, no attitude and always ready to chat with every person that walks or pedals in. Thanks heaps.
