Nice old little place, close to Hindmarsh Island bridge.

Lovely old cottage, comfortable and clean.

We stayed at Addie's Place in October and were able to extend our stay because we loved it. From the moment we walked in, it felt comfortable and so inviting. It had a wonderful back yard , which was so peaceful and everything we needed.We are so hopeful to go back again in the new year and being so close to the main part of Goolwa, and opposite to a great bakery, we didn't have to travel far for anything else. The fridge was well stocked as well as the cupboards.Thank you Peter and Sandra for the lovely place you have allowed people to stay in and wonderful history of the home - it was very interesting.We will definitely try and get back there next year.Merry Christmas to you both.

Perfectly presented, perfect location. After spending our New Years weekend at Addies Place we could not fault this beautifully presented cottage with great garden so you can sit & relax whilst the kids run around. With everything you need we would definitely love to stay again.

Great little spot to stay in Goolwa! Very central.

The location was perfect. Spotlessly clean. I would describe it as eclectic but what it lacks in luxury it more than makes up for in charm.

Location location location. This quaint cottage has everything you need and more to make your stay comfortable. Easy walking distance to most places. Addies Place is a gem.

27/3/22.My wife and I were very impressed with the cottage. It was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast provisions were ideal as were the tea and coffee.The beds were nice and comfortable. The wide selection of DVD's would cater to all tastes along with an assortment of books.The only thing my wife and I had difficulty with was the shower. we found it hard to adjust the temperature. The hot water tap had to be turned on full but the cold tap only a fraction otherwise the water went cold. Other than that we could not fault it.We would definitely recommend a stay at this cottage.

Well, this was our first B&B, and we were not disappointed.A beautiful old cottage from the street which has been renovated but has kept the old world charm.The clean kitchen is well equipped with a modern oven, cooktop and microwave.There was a good selection of cereal, milk, yogurt, fruit bread, and white bread for breakfast. Some chocolates and ice cream were just lovely.The bathroom was clean and had beautiful soft towels, shampoo and conditioner plus bath gel,But I loved the little makeup pads that were a life saver for me. Hairdryer supplied.The lounge had a reverse cycle air conditioner, beautifully comfortable leather lounge, modern TV, books games, movies,The main bedroom was lovely with beautiful linen, a comfortable queen bed and space to hang clothing. It had a wall fan but was cooled by air-conditioning .The second bedroom was large with a double bed antique set of drawers ,There was a well equipped laundry with a top loader, etc.The car was secured in a car port with a roller door.There was a BBQ clothing and garden art, which I'm in the process of doing at home.A very pleasant stay indeed, I think we'll be returning.
