Nice location on the river, undergoing some well needed renovations. Quiet, friendly. Mostly permanent residents. Great fishing, almost throw a line from some van sites.

During the past 2 years i have spent quite a bit of time at this park,i have friends there.Yes on the river but also lots of trees which were great but branches fell down very regularly,lack of maitenance!!!Then when it rains you need gumboots to walk around,the roads are mostly gravel.Cal was friendly and did his best to maintain things but the whole place looks like a tip except when the owner was coming to visit.Most friends are trying to sell and move on.A beautiful setting with so much potential,just very poorly managed.

Beautiful spot, seemed to be mostly permanent residents though that stayed up all hours drinking at the river side playing music and filling our van with smoke from their fire,had to close all the windows. Overall pretty run down. Definitely not a 'TOURIST VILLAGE' NOT suited to families.

What a shame this place is so run down. It could be magical.On the banks of the Hastings river, there are fishing opportunities galore but the facilities are now dangerous and the park looks like a half way village that a didn't want to explore. Such a shame !!

Swamp no clean water and management don't do repairs or maintenance or cleaning driveway always full of water very bad for mould

The sign out the front said dog friendly and I was visiting so I thought I would take my tiny shih tzu dog for a walk also. Got to the front gate and saw I was being watched so I waved to the lady who I assume is the owner of the park. She asked me if i was staying and I said no I was visiting then preceded to tell me that I had to have my dog on a leash or leave. I've never ever put my dog on a lead as he is so well behaved and harmless. Thought it was supposed to be animal friendly? :( I just left they won't get none of my business in the future!

Old amenities but clean while I was there. Good river view, but a bit noisy. Lot of birds. More permanent resident, limited grass area for visitor. Staff was nice. Hot water was not strong, but it was free. Free firewood.
