We come here for lunch quite often. Dishes are very homestyle Taiwanese food. I like how the flavor is not too much msg as compared to other Asian restaurants. The flavor of food is as shown on the star rating. Wonton Noodle soup had good tasting wontons, using a Taiwanese style thicker noodle. Bento boxes and rice bowls are usually the way to go here, you can order a milk tea which is acceptable.Overall this restaurant has a wide variety of dishes to choose from and they come with vegetables offering a balanced diet.

Food is average. Nice but I would not say it’s great. Way too expensive for the amount of food being served.I ordered wonton, but only received 5 small bites of wonton for $12….

Came here for lunch, my wife is from Taiwan and I know the food well. Well our experience was not what I expect from Taiwanese culture. Staff were super rude not even saying hello when we go to order and we were the only customer in the store. Taro milk tea taste is very poor quality but the Thai milk tea is not bad. Pork rice was just that pretty standard but at 16 a bowl it’s on the high end Pretty pricey for what it is, there is better Taiwanese places to eat around Brisbane with much nicer service.

I love this place! The bubble tea comes in cute cups with ears on them and the large size is really generous! The Japanese beef bowl is really good and also the taro sago pudding. Just a word of warning - the watermelon sago bowl has rockmelon. It didn’t say that on the menu and I’m allergic. But it has such a lovely cozy atmosphere and delicious food! I love taking people here. The giant teddybear makes me happy, I call this place the teddybear place to my friends

The environment and taste are good, but I don't know why the staff don't have a good attitude. First of all, when ordering, a female employee was arrogant and aggressive. Plus, every time I say thank you

A wonderful cozy place (tucked away from the more rowdy part of West End) that started off a few years back as a bubble tea store and now serves authentic Taiwanese food too - with some extra's you won't find everywhere else. They serve a range of Taiwanese dishes, such as Taiwanese fried chicken (鹽酥雞), beef noodle soup (牛肉麵), braised pork rice (魯肉麵) and various Bento options (便當). These three would have to be my personal favourites. Everything I've tried so far has been delicious and very reminiscent of the Taiwan.Their bubble teas are generally quite good. Their base milk tea is flavourful with a strong tea flavour, and they have the option of soy and almond milk for a dollar or two extra. The pearls are have been consistently chewy too. The Fresh Taro Milk is also quite nice, and for those who want to try something a little different, I enjoyed the Rose Milk Tea, it has just the perfect hint.Outside of the milk tea options, all of the yakult based drinks are great, and the Mango Sago Pomelo is something not to miss giving a try.If you are feeling adventurous, give the taro paste pork floss sandwich a go. The paste is smooth and has a nice taro taste, but for me, it doesn't go to well with cucumber. Definitely worth the try though.Price wise, the main dishes range from $10-$20 (salmon/unagi at the higher price ranges), with drinks from $6-$10ish. After expanding they usually have seating available most weeknights, although it does get a little busy on the weekend.
