I have never felt so attacked at a nail salon before.I went in for a pedicure after a natural pink colour, the colour I chose I was advised was see through. So from my understanding the girl explained she would do one coat of a white underneath and 2 coats the pink I chose on top.She showed me the first nail and I approved it because I thought there would be more coats. As I was busy away on the phone, she had finished and it wasn't what I was after but happy to pay and leave.She asked if I didn't like it and I explained to her what I had wanted and told her it was fine I'll just pay for it. Well, that apparently warranted her to shout at me because she had asked me if I had liked it at the beginning. Then she continued to say I am always rude, when I had only been to the salon twice before, and my experiences beforehand were nothing but pleasant and my nails were amazing hence why I had returned for a 3rd time. When I asked what she was referring too, I was told she didn't want to speak to me and I was upsetting her. I tried to reason with her and speak in a calm manner explaining she doesn't have to do my nails if I'm making her upset and I'll leave, but her response was viscous and attacking. She wouldn't let me leave after I told her I feel very uncomfortable, she insisted to take it off.As I paid for such a horrendous service, I asked to speak to someone in regards to this, I was given a number and my calls have been declined and no-response. What wanted to be a relaxing experience, turned into tears. Absolutely disgusting behaviour.

Best experience! Being someone that doesn’t regularly get nails I never no what to ask or get when it comes to nails! The girls helped me pick what’s best for my nails talked me through nail health and talked me through the whole process! My nails were beautiful and lasted 4 weeks could have lasted longer if I didn’t chip one off! ( nail bitter )I travel 45 minutes to now go get my nails done by code rose salon!

I had my nails done last Thursday so only 9 days ago now and the ends are chipped on about 5 fingers across both of my hands.. I was so happy with the result when I got them done and told all my friends and family how much I liked them. The lady even said they should last about 4 weeks if I look after them (which I have been) as I had surgery last week so have taken the week off work to rest and recover so haven’t done anything strenuous and this is what has happened. I would expect them to last a lot longer as guaranteed by the staff member, especially because I paid $80 for them! They are the most expensive nails I’ve ever had done as I normally get SNS which is only $45 and lasts for at least 3-4 weeks.. therefore I will be returning to my previous nail technician in Altona Gate who are lovely to deal with, amazing quality and highly competitive in price! I was going to come back to Code Rose as it has a cool vibe and I had lovely lady who made my entire experience welcoming.. however since then I reached out to them on Instagram private messaging to find a solution but the whoever responded was very condescending and for starters called me Lauren (not Laura) and thought I was attacking the quality of their work by simply providing my honest feedback and facts of the matter.. not once did she offer to have me come in so they could fix them or offer me a discount on my next visit (which I would have expected in this instance) I never expected the quality to be this bad when I paid $80. I would not recommend going to Code Rose as I am extremely disappointed with the quality of the gel and awful customer service I received.. Definitely won’t be going back

Katie, Hannie and the girls at Code Rose are amazing. So friendly. My nails are always perfect. The only place I trust to do my nails perfectly every time.

Charging 70$+ for the quality of below average ( and this doesn’t even include manicure)My appointment was delayed by 30 min, what was the whole point of booking ?Nails infill wasn’t great eitherAnd after a couple of weeks nails started to chip on different fingersSome salons in Moonee Ponds and Essendon do a better job for half the priceAnd if you really want a good quality nails done- Zoe beauty bar in the city!

Great salon in Essendon, lovely service and quality nails. First time getting BIAB and they have lasted 4 weeks perfectly, no breaking, no chipping, no lifting. My new fave ❤️

The ladies at code rose are professional and friendly. I love my nails and have been happy each time I have attended both salons. I appreciate that the salons runs on time and my appointments are at the time I have booked them for. Look forward to returning for my refills.

Staff are very friendly but I am disappointed with how my nails had turned out. I was the last appointment for the night and the lady that did my nails had clearly rushed them to get me out. The polish coat was all bubbling and the SNS was very chunky. The picture below is how my nails looked after 1.5 weeks. Heaps of cracks in the polish and they look so chunky. I had to get them taken off because they just kept getting worse and SNS usually lasts me 3 weeks at a minimum as opposed to 1.5 weeks.

I’m super disappointed and disgusted with the outcome of my nails. I was charged $70 for a full set of acrylic nails with shellac and it hasn’t even lasted a week. Three nails are peeling off, with one nail broken down the side. They’re thin as paper which is probably half the reason. When given feedback on instagram, I was blocked from social media which is quite childish if you ask me. No care was taken, just felt like I was an in and out customer. The only thing that I can say that is nice, is their salon but that’s about it. I just want my money back so I can go and get my nails fixed. Please contact me to finalise this. Thanks Kat
