Drama For Kids WA

Alan’s drama classes have really helped our daughter build confidence and feel really welcoming- especially great for kids that have historically had difficulty fitting in with other activities. Alan is a standout amongst all other after school programs we have had experiences with.

Alan is an amazing and supportive drama teacher. My daughter attended Drama for Kids for more than 5 years. She made amazing friends who she couldn't wait to see every Friday night. Her confidence grew and this could be seen when she performed on stage. Would highly recommend!

Drama for Kids has provided a highly supportive and encouraging enviroment for my daughter and all the other students. It has been absolutely delightful to see the Youth Theatre performances at the end of each term. My daughter was a student with Alan from 2017 to 2022 but unfortunately has now grown too old to continue. Alan is very passionate about drama and shares his enthusiasm with his students. The classes allow students to develop friendships outside of school, learn how to work well together with others and speak confidently in front of an audience. Alan has taught drama for many decades and we've met a number of adults who were students of Alan 20 or 30 years ago who all speak highly of him and we recently discovered that my daughter's high school drama teacher was a student of Alan herself when she was younger and she was still able to recall what a positive experience it has been in her own journey to become a drama teacher herself.

My 10 yr old daughter started these drama classes with Alan a yr ago! She loves every single week and comes out with the brightest of smiles week after week.I love seeing the friendships being built through this class also.Thanks Alan for creating a safe, fun space for these kids to develop their imaginations, creativity and confidence!

My daughter, 11. Loves attending Alan's classes. He's great with them and the kids absolutely love it. My daughter has been doing it for the last year or so and wants to continue doing it.

My daughter attended Alan’s Friday night drama class for high school kids for several years and loved every minute of it. Alan makes a safe and inclusive place for all children to feel welcome.
