Very highly recommend Gracie Jiu Jitsu Shepparton. Scott and the other instructors do a fantastic job teaching their bullyproof program. My son joined the program after having had trouble with another kid at school for 3-4 months. The program has helped him so much in every way. He is now very confident and even has to be reminded to be quiet when the instructor is talking. He is no longer afraid to stand up for himself or his friends and he has learned the importance of taking responsibility, caring, manners, respect, citizenship, and health. This program has helped set my son up for life and i can't express the importance of it or my gratitude. It really should be a part of their schooling!Can't thank you guys enough and a big thank you as well to the ladies at the counter for always being so nice, friendly and helpful!

Great place! Strongly recommend it for learning real self defence. The people here are wholesome and friendly and I've had no problem learning the moves, because everyone here focuses on helping each other. My video is just of us doing warm-ups.

Fantastic facilities, excellent, professional and friendly instructors. Safe and supportive environment for kids and adults alike. My son loves coming here each week and we are extremely impressed how he has grown from the experience. Very highly recommended.

An amazing training centre for the whole family. We have been made to feel a part of the global Gracie family since day one. The patient, certified instructors explain everything, without making you feel inadequate or overwhelmed. Great clean facilities, and very friendly staff.

I can’t speak highly enough of Gracie Jujitsu and the bully-proof program.The change I’ve seen in my 10 yr old son over the past 18 months is nothing short of thrilling. Not only does he love learning Jiu Jitsu, he now has many tools to keep him confident and safe throughout his life ie self defence techniques, stranger danger escape moves and verbal commands. I have very little fear now as he approaches teenage-hood and secondary school knowing we have Jiu Jitsu as our base in his formative years.A big winner for us has also been their character development program which focuses on building and strengthening fundamental pillars of character - Responsibility, Respect, Caring, Health, Citizenship and Manners. These character traits are beautifully woven into their self defence Jiu Jitsu program as the kids are active in discussing these important traits and how they live with and improve on them in their lives. Then with enough points they compete in the coveted Gracie Games Day where they earn their badge and wear it with pride. And the way the kids respond to and flock to the instructors is reminiscent of the Pied Piper of Hamelin! They really have created a strong and powerful connection with the kids which is comforting to see.This program (of self defence and character development) is teaching them, and us, to show up in their lives and strive to be the best version of themselves possible and is providing them with the necessary framework in which to build their lives upon.It’s honestly the missing link you didn’t even know was missing.

Scott and the team have been amazing with teaching my girls self defence and providing them with a sense of empowerment. We have only had a couple of private sessions and group classes so far and are excited to continue for a long time to come.
