Best Italian cuisine in Sydney !!!The pizza dough base is made to perfection, the base is to my liking, soft as butter. I rarely overeat, at Gigi's Balman one cannot refrain from satisfying those taste buds craving for more Italian. This place is a hidden gem, amazing, and so easy to digest as they prepare the dough fermented perfectly. My favourite Pizza is 4 x cheese pizza with honey". You will be very surprised at how outstanding this gem of an Italian Restaurant is

We came here as a group of 8. The wait staff were great. The food was more filling than expected. It was fantastic to be able to go an Italian Pizzeria that has a great selection of vegan options.

Understaffed to the point that we waited a very long time just to order and the food came out before we had any cutlery. There was no clean cutlery in the store. The owner is a horrible person who tried to blame us for not asking for the food to be reheated. Never going back. Ruined our wonderful day.

You won’t believe our experience at Gigi! This restaurant exudes the amazing and inviting atmosphere and herby aroma of the classic top-shelf Italian eateries we enjoyed in Roma.The pizza variety is a superb classic selection of artistically created styles with incredible honest dough and classic crusts. The 4 cheese pizza is utterly superb; as are the unique fresh pasta dishes. Very nice night indeed!We didn’t know what to expect, as we don’t go to Balmain often, but we left very happy! Really nice location and easy parking in the nearby Woolies’ carpark (check the signs to make sure you’re good!) Thanks to the attentive staff and chefs.

The best pizza and pasta! Absolutely lovely ambiance and Daniel always make us feel so comfortable and well looked after.Vegan menu is super amazing! Tiramisu is the bomb ♥️

This is the most amazing vegan pizza we have ever eaten. Really cozy place with some seats outside. Friendly staff and amazing vegan options and not.We definitely recommend this place

Came here one night for some food. The girl at the front was friendly and got us a seat super quickly. We sat down and decided what to eat. However, the server was inattentive and it took a really long time to get her to take our order.We got the Margherita pizza and the arancini. The arancini balls were very large and a good texture. They tasted great too, a good ratio of rice to cheese. The cream and cheese sauce reduction was also very good and really complemented the arancini. The pizza was good but nothing super special I guess. For the price that it was, probably expected more. The crust was very thick and puffy!

Although I'd like to give a higher rating for the food... There were a few things that weren't right. Firstly we sat outside and it had been raining - the table was clearly wet and the waitress just put the plates on the table, I had to ask for it too be wiped down which seems to be a common issue in the bad reviews. Also when I ordered a coke which cost $4.50 they just brought it out in a cup... No can. And it didn't taste like a fizzy freshly opened coke. I believe they are buying bulk and selling at can/bottle price which is sad and gross. I work in hospitality.. I know your supposed to ask the customer if they want ice, if they want a glass and open it in front of them. I actually hate ice in my soft drinks. Also when we finished dinner no one came to clear our table, no one offered us a desert menu... They could have made an extra $30 off us. Although now I read previous reviews.. I'm glad we didn't. Not coming back to this Gigi's

Great range of vegan options at this place.Crust on the pizza here is excellent - thin, airy, light and has a good chew.We ordered the Pumpkin pizza and the Zucchini Flower pizza - both were delicious and can also recommend the eggplant rolls to start.My favourite has to be the fried pizza dough balls with 'nutella'. Absolutely DIVINE!!!If you're in the area, it's definitely worth checking out!
